Los Arcos Suites Hotel

Ok there is three Los Arcos hotels the one on the beach,one small one across street and the Los Arcos suites which is across from the small one.We stayed at the Suites because the beach one was full.We ended up with a room 1 bedroom with great balconly overlooking the great city streets and a ocean view at end of street.They had working air,cable tv,decent shower pressure and clean rooms. I just got home last night from Puerto Vallarta, which I dearly love! This was my 4th visit there and my first time staying with Los Arcos Suites. I made my reservations for two rooms long before I left, but when I got there, they had no rooms for me and my children, and my brother and his girlfriend. So they offered us a room in their other hotel, much smaller room, dark, dreary and damp and was assured at both hotels that there would be no charge since they had given up our reservations to someone else. I stayed here first week of Dec. 2003 -- had to move 3 times, as interior rooms dark and gloomy -- street room I ended up in was big w/balcony, but street, a.c., and pipes noisy. Main complaint was in the credit card billing due to changing rooms: they overcharged me by about $200 for 6 nights, and trying to get that worked out was impossible, even with my credit card company trying to help, so I just gave up and paid it. I would never stay there again.

We got rooms out to the street and sometimes it was a little loud. The pipes were loud to, sometimes I woke up at night beliving that I was flashed out of bad. But we could see the sea and we followed the streetlife. We got our dinner at the hotel Playa los Arcos. The view was fantastico. Sometimes we saw dolphins nearby. The staff at this hotel is very friendly and we had a lot of fun and a lot of good sockergames. I liked very much the Piña Colada. Greetings from Denmark and we hope we will come back

Stay at Los Arcos Suites March 5-19, 2004. Had a large suite with balcony facing the street, (per our request). Not one complaint. Great beach service. I would skip all inclusive deal as there are many restaurants in that area. When in Puerto Vallarta be adventurous you enjoy your holiday so much more.

Booked this hotel after reading several reviews. It was not a top end hotel .. but I chose it because the room looked romantic with the wrought iron doors. We received a plain room with slider doors with an excellent view of the top of a power pole right in our face on the balcony. Would not recommend.

first night was a nightmare. was put in a small room overlooking the street, no sleep that night, next day after 4 hours of protest was moved to a small room over looking pool & street. did not get much sleep on this vacation. make sure you get a room next to the beach or you will go home drained, bad vacation, beds hard. food ok.

I would recommend this hotel for budget-minded travellers looking for a centrally-located hotel. The room was clean and very spacious, with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and courtyard, a sitting area with two sofas and a small kitchenette. The bed was very firm, beware if you prefer a softer mattress! The location is brilliant if you like to be walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and action, although if you re looking for quiet and seclusion it might not be the place for you. Stayed at Los Arcos Suites March 2003. Rooms wer ok. Kitchenette was a two burner plate and a bar fridge. But that suited our purposes. The rooms ending in 01 (201, 301, 401) have a separate bedroom but overlooked the street which can be quite noisy. We stayed in a "09" room which overlooked the pool and got the afternoon sun but no separate bedroom. We just returned from 9 nights at the Suites Playa Los Arcos. We had never stayed in the Los Muertos area before and we loved it. Desk clerks were friendly. Pool doesn't get much sun, but you can use pools at the other 2 sister hotels, as well as the beach at the Playa Los Arcos hotel. For $42/night, it was much better than I expected. Room was large, A/C worked well, bed was comfortable. No microwave in the kitchenette.
