Club Embarcadero Pacifico Hotel

THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR A HONEYMOON! The hotel and Puerto are below average for Mexico. First of all I am mexican-american. I love my people but I have to admitt that this trip was so frustrating for me. The guests at the hotel who were all mexican were extremely rude! From cutting in line at the front desk to cutting in line at the buffets. I was appauled! The hotel beds were like I was living with the flinstones. ROCKS! The pillows were like cases full of clay. I just came back from Club Embarcadero this Sunday, and I found this hotel to be absolutely terrible. We arrived on Sunday, and we were fortunate enough to get a room, although the other 5 people from our flight, were not and had to wait 2 to 3 hours for a room (despite the fact that the hotel wasn't even close to being at full capacity). The room was in awful shape, burnt light bulbs,couchs for beds, a disgusting mildew smell,an empty kitchen (with nothing it it!)....need I say more. My wife and I have just returned on July 13, 2003 from one week in Puerto Vallarta. We stayed at Club Embarcadero, a three star all inclusive resort in the Marina area. All in all, we are very satisfied with our vacation at this hotel. We feel relaxed and feel this hotel is good value for the money. The hotel is very clean. The staff are constantly cleaning. Our room was cleaned daily. The grounds are well maintained. When we first arrived we were given a room with two single bedsofas. We had requested a room with a queen or king size bed.... more

I stayed there at the beginning of last summer with my boyfriend and we loved it..If you are looking for a posh atmosphere with snotty staff than don't stay here. If you are looking for all the ammenities you need and a amazing staff than stay here. We met some really fun people and the entertainment staff were making sure you were having fun at all times....I would highly recommend this to anybody.

WOW what a place!I was there the begining of May,I had the time of my life! I met the most incredible people staff included. We had a few issues with the room the first night but had no problem getting them fixed and other then that.. It was a worry free week of fun in the sun! Have I mentioned how incredible the staff was???? Thanks for a week to remember Embarcadero!

Just got back from Club Embarcadero and had an amazing time. The room was great, the food was good, but above all the staff made me feel so welcome. Such a great location, and so much to do. There were lots of activities available. Met so many great people there. I would go back in a heart beat.

The rooms were nice and big and we were lucky enough to score a suite with a balcony (only because the hotel was nearly empty in early October). The breakfast was ok, lunch sketchy and the dinners were great if you went to the nice restaurant but sketchy if you went to the buffet dinner. The wait staff and bartenders were all awesome, extraordinary in fact, but the front desk staff and management were despicable. 3 of us in a room had one key, they kept telling us to come back for another one (6 days, no second key ever so we had to stay... more

Well, the staff were nice... (with the exception of the incompetant front desk staff) and the location was great. BUT, no one tells you ANYTHING about the place. And in the travel books, you have all these great things included, but you really don't. Not without a price anyway. Had a great time.... loved the people I met that stayed there... but we were one of the lucky ones with a small room with no balcony, and were told to "come back tomorrow,noon, after check out" three days in a row. Didn't get the balcony. Would I go there again? Not... more

I do not know what all this people are talking about, because i was there last summer and the hotel was great, the anomation team was great ( dont mind my english) they were all nice and became my friends. i email with them every day! Ok the food was not all that, well i am talking about diner but the rest was great. And there did was a childerensgroup, somebody said that there wasent, and i know that because i know the girl how spend time with those kids! So i would devenetly go back, and recomment it to everyone! dont be negative.... more

I spent a week at Emabarcadero in Feb 2002 with my Girlfreind and antoher couple. This was the other couples, and my first time on a "Sun Vacation".....my girlfriend though, has been to Mexico several times. We had an absolute blast! Not knowing what to expect, I didn't expect much, but I was amazed. Rooms: Although old decor......very clean, well maintained, large, comfortable, and wonderful room service! We originally were given a smaller room, but when we asked if we could get adjoining rooms, we were given a larger one... more
