Nice resort
from Chazanddi
Nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds mainly german but we dont mind that in a good spot near beach and bars we liked The British Bull Dog on a night Chris the DJ makes every one feel welcome. We stayed in a studio is was not big enough for two adults and a child of eight 3 beds in a row with no room to move between them ,was clean but had seen better days and smelt of chips when we put the air con on . This was our secound visit to cala millor in a year and love the resort.
Loved it here, clean, friendly and close to beach.

German orientated hotel with loads of activities for children regardless of their language. We were self catering as we prefer to eat out at different places. Kitchen well equipped with everything required to cook a three course meal if needed. Beds changes everyday and the bathrooms are spotless. Pool a good size with a baby/childrens pool at the bottom. Our children are too old to want to come on holiday with us but I will take my grandson there as there is a playpark and younger children activities which as far as I could see are paid for on the day. ( Gets them out the sun for a bit) Only ate there once but the food was lovely and freshly made. Beach only 5 mins away and there is a train (disguised tractor) locally named the Wally Trolley that for a small price will take you to the other three resorts, bus stop just up the road from the hotel. Across the road there is also an adventure place for kids with bouncy castles and go carting, pony riding etc. No diea on the prices sorry. Pubs and restaurants directly under the complex, German and British menus . Hope tis helps anyone thinking on this hotel.
Fantastic holiday would go back.

Just come back from a 1 week all inclusive holiday with my 2 daughters and elderly mother. Hotel very very clean and all staff very friendly. Rooms are large we had a half sea view which was lovely and two balconies. The food all good but you only eat in the main restaurant which after a week gets slightly borring. There is a lunch menu serverd at the pool bar, but this is for paying guests only and not the all inclusive. The snacks for the all inclusive are basic, ham or cheese sandwiches which you can toast, cakes and biscuits and ice cream all in a help your self fridge. Beach very close but not quite oppersite, just one road down, but as the surronding areas are flat made walking to easy. The beach clean with plenty of beds, and the sea is child friendly. The pool was very clean and had good access for all, with ramps and various stairs. Would book this hotel again but maybe for just the one week as with two weeks you would be definately board of the 1 restaurant. Lots to do and see near by with shops, restaurants and play areas. Childrens club and kids half hour disco every day, entertainment ok, the kids enjoyed it but not very exciting for the adults. Bar all good no problem with getting drinks, but the nights usually were finished by 11.45. All in all would recommend and return.
very good value for money

Appartment: (in main building) Good points: very spacious, very clean, lots of cupboard space, large balcony, sofa sleeps wonderfull, beautifull view Bad points: though kitchen is well equiped, indicators on hob were missing and it took ages to heat a pan. (Might have been our own fault by not figuring it out correctly). There is a coffee machine but no kettle. Balcony had only sun untill 11 am. Plenty of places on the complex to sit in the sun, but if you like to sit on your own balcony it might be worth enquiring at the hotel if you have a sunny balcony. Phone or mail them directly, their english is very good. Food: Nothing fancy but plenty of choice and tasty. Entertainment: Didn't participate in day time activity so can't say anything about it. Nighttime entertainment was varied and everybody seemed to enjoy themselves. There was an Arabian night, Miss Cala Millor contest, bingo, magician, Pub quiz etc. Staff: Absolutely wonderfull Out of season issues: During a couple of nights there was nobody left in the bar after 11pm. Poolbar was closed and you had to get your drinks from the bar in the main building. Location: Very close and good access to beach. Beach itself is wonderfull. Tourist information almost next to hotel. Calla Millor is without any hills and therefor very suitable for those who have trouble walking. Puorto Christo (15 minutes by bus) is more a mix of tourism and Mallorquin village. Lovely place. Things to do There is a midget golf 10 minutes away from hotel. Most info about glass bottom trips (including the one at reception) give impression a visit to caves is included. They do indeed visit but they are the minor caves and do not include entrance price to Caves Del Drach (£10.50 pp). Which are worth a visit. Bikes are 3 euro's a day. Very cheap way of traveling is by local transport. Plenty of buses to take you anywhere but don't be surprised if they don't run on time. If you are not all inclusive, there are plenty of restaurants and pubs in Calla Millor. Most of them are aimed at German tourists but if you don't mind mixing...plent of choice. In general: Very good value for a 3 star hotel, good location and friendly staff. The only reason why I didn't give it the full marks was because of lack of sun on balcony and because pool bar was't open. But that is all personal.
Cala Millor Park Fantastic when can we go back!!
from ToffeemanDorset
The hotel the staff the food the location the beach all fantastic this place gets 10 out of 10 would go back tomorrow, will definitely be going back when apparently its going to be a 5 star hotel. I cannot recommend highly enough.
Simply Fantastic all round - go for it and have a lovely time!!
from LiddyQ
We travelled to Majorca as a group of 9 people - to include 4 OAP's 3 kids (10,7,4) The hotel is so easy to find and our overall view is ' Excellent ' Location - very close to the beach but in an open space so not crammed in between other hotels - very easy to find when you come off the main motorway signed Cala Millor - donw the hill it is straight ahead. Staff - what can I say - simply the most accommodating, pleasant, smiley, helpful bunch I have ever met - a true credit to the hotel. Hotel - lovely layout - we had a room in a block at the back of the pool away from the main hotel, this was perfect for us and lovely and quiet. Rooms - A fantastic size, we were all inclusive so did not need to use the kitchen facilities. A lovely size bedroom, plenty of wardrobe space we had a lovely bathroom well equipped and light and airy. We had a living room with a great sofa bed for the kids - So clean and well looked after, the maid came every day except tuesday, plenty of towells and clean linen - a real treat! Food - We were all inclusive, I will strongly recommend this option as the area is quite expensive and to eat out would prove very expensive - there are a couple of spa Lidl type shops but again compared to home food, water and general products are very expensive. Just to give an idea - a good shampoo will set you back £5 and a basic lunch out i.e salad, one drink and pizza around £50/60 for 4............. Food and Drink - Simply wonderful!! the restaurant was just lovely, starched white linen to include napkins - very attentive staff, the food was hot, well cooked and plentiful, everyone had a lovely meal each night no matter how fussy the eater!! If you are all inclusive you can order wine veer or soft drinks and they will come to your table - the staff cleared the plates within a second of you finishing and always had a lovely smile for you too!! The bar was lovely, perhaps not the entertainment ... dependant on taste!! there was an all inclusive drinks list to include almost every drink ever made - the cocktails were limited but very lovely Overall - We hired a car from the airport as it is around 50 mins away, but an easy route to follow - we all loved the hotel, pool, and staff and would love to return as soon as possible. Go ahead and book this hotel if you are going to Majorca.... have a lovely time x
What a great place!!!!
from Anniepete
We went purely on reviews for this hotel, so felt it was important to add to them. The hotel is great, the food was fantastic every day, you would have to be really fussy not to find something on the buffet that you liked. Every meal time was a challenge as there was so much to choose from. The waiting staff were very busy, but always attentive, couldn't do enough for us!! Xavier, Oscar, Rafa, Rafael, Dada and all the other staff on the bar and the dining room were brilliant, spoke good english and had good senses of humour. The room was fantastic with the biggest balcony I've ever seen!! Always clean and fresh towels when you wanted them. All the staff were very helpful from the maids to the receptionists and also the Entertainments team. Altogether a really good holiday, apart from the weather, but you can't buy that!!
best 3 star we've ever stayed in
from annNorthernIreland
We were moved to this hotel at the last minute and really were lucky. We travelled on the halloween week with a 5 year old and 20 month year old. The outside of the hotel and the grounds are a very good 3 star if not 4 star. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and child friendly. The rooms were spacious with plenty of room to store suitcases and were very clean. At this time of year the weather is not always great so the indoor pool was a great timefiller on a cloudy afternoon. We ended up eating in the buffet restaurant each night. We paid for 5 nights and the kids ate free - it was very reasonable. The food was good (not gourmet eating but its not 5 star) and the staff were always welcoming to the children. The entertainment at this time of year isn't great but we didn't expect it to be. We were one of the only English speaking families staying here so if you like to be within a place popular with the British it isn't the place to go. It mostly catered for German people who we found friendly and my daughter played happily with the German speaking children and now knows some words!
Very clean hotel
from Helen-9999
Just come back from Majorca on 31st October 2008. Stayed at this hotel for one week self catering. Think it may have recently been refurbished as it is now owned by Hipotel chain, previously Iberostar. The 1 bed apartment we had was very clean and fresh. We were a party of 2 adults and one 15 year old boy. Bedroom good sized with wardrobe, dressing table, bedside units, comfortable beds, bed linen seemed very new. Living area quite large with 2 good sized couches that doubled as sofa beds, my son found them very comfortable for sleeping, again all linen, curtains etc seemed new. Also in the living area was a good sized coffee table, small table and tv, dining table and 4 chairs, sideboard, plenty of space. The kitchen was separated by a wall with a large hatch with shutters that could be opened through to the dining area. Adequate facilities for us in the kitchen, 2 rings, kettle, fridge, sink of course, plently of cupboards and plenty of crockery etc. The bathroom also was a good size with marble type surround round the sink area for all our toilet bags etc. Decent shower with plenty of hot water always. The maid came in every day except Tuesdays, I think she changed the bed linen every day, and we definately has clean towels - bath and hand, every day, thought this was a bit extravagant given that I had read somewhere it was an environmental hotel? The towels were also new as they had embossed on them the hotel name and Hipotel and seeing as its just changed hands they must have been new. There was no window in the bedroom and for ventilation you could open a door that led into a tiny box room that had large vents opening out onto the open air corridors. We were at the end of a corridor so were not bothered by people walking by, but I could imagine that this might be a bit noisy if a lot of people were wandering past at night. It was pretty cool at night so we did not have the door open anyway. There was air con but we didn't have it on. The balcony was good size too with table and chairs, we didn't get much sun on ours though but we had a good view over to the the beach and long promenade which was about 100 yards away. There are 2 blocks to this hotel but they both looked the same. The hotel reception was large and clean and marble looking, there were lifts to all floors. This hotel is German and they seem to cater mainly for German guests, but this was not a problem, reception spoke English and were very helpful. There is a large terrace area with plenty of sunbeds and a large swimming pool, all looked very nice, but it wasn't really sunbathing weather when we were there. There was a small playground and a volley ball court, an outdoor stage area for the warmer weather. There is a very small indoor pool which was heated and also had quite nice changing areas and showers. Given that we went at the end of the summer season, there was little or no entertainment on, but we went out anyway so it was not a problem. The whole town seemed to be winding up for the season and lots of hotels and bars were already closed, could imagine it might be difficult to find bars and restaurants open in the winter months. Overall I would say this hotel is very good, it is rated 3 star and I have stayed in much worse 4 stars, couldn't fault it really! Certainly one of the cleanest hotels I can think of and I've been to plenty. Forgot to say, we had a car for the week and while this hotel does not have a car park, there is plenty of parking just outside the hotel in parking bays along the roadside. There is also a Lidl and another Hypermarket thing just up the road. There is also a bike hire place over the road and we hired mountain bikes for the day for 7 Euros each and then a 4 seater bike/buggy thing for 2 hours for 13 Euros, everyone has bikes, they are very popular here.
Nice hotel in Cala Millor
from Swedee
Our family (2 kids, 4 and 1,5 years) stayed at Cala Millor Park one week in June/July 2007. The hotel was nice and met our expections, it’s a 3-star hotel, and delivers on that. The Room was good, Restaurant was OK, we had the buffet every night good food but the service was less impressive. Pool area was great. Hotel is close to the beach if you prefer that. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants near the hotel. The hotel is crowded with Germans and every one assumes that you are German and speaks to you in German, including all staff. All games and entertainment is also in German. Cala Millor is a nice little town with enough entertainment for a family during a week.
i have just returned from a 9 nights trip and stayed at callor millor park, im a little confused although the hotel was very clean and the pool outside was really good, the photos which it shows of the pool on here are not the same as the pool when i was there, neiter is... more
