Hipotels Aparthotel Cala Millor Park Reviews
" Fantastic Hotel "

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Although is says it is a 3 star hotel, i would give it a 4 star. The hotel was absolutely immaculate, spotlessly clean in the reception, bedrooms, pool area, basically everywhere. We only stayed self catering so don't know what the food is like in the hotel. We had a one bedroomed apartment for 2 adults and 2 kids, so there was 2 single beds in the bedroom and 2 sofas in the living area which were already made up with sheets and blankets etc and quite comfortable. There was everything you would need in the kitchen - 2 ring hob, kettle, toaster, pans, crockery and even a teapot, so you could cook quite easily in there. The bathroom was lovely and spotless, with a bath and a shower over. We paid extra for a sea view and it was well worth it, the view from the balcony was lovely, so relaxing to sit and watch the sea. The men on reception were lovely and very helpful. The outdoor pool is gorgeous but a little cold when we were there. The indoor pool was great for the kids, it was lovely and warm and because we went out of school holidays they had the pool to themselves as there was only a couple of little children there.
We were there 18th April - 25th April and the resort and hotel was pretty quiet but plenty of shops and bars and restaurants open so i would definately go that time of year again as we like it a bit quieter. There is a great bar/restaurant underneath the hotel called the Sportsman Bar, they do a lovely full english breakfast and great choice of kids menu and not badly priced. Would also recommend the chinese restaurant just up the road. The hotel is in a real good position if you like to walk up the main street of shops to Cala Bona, as the hotel is at the end of the start of the shops, so the hotel is in a quiet location and no rowdiness going on around it.
Fantastic beach opposite the hotel, lovely golden sand and you can walk out in the sea quite a bit before it gets deep, so great for kids. There is also a taxi rank just outside the hotel and reasonably priced too, costing about 4.5 euros to get to Cala Bona if you don't fancy walking.
Cala Millor does seem to be a German resort, as the hotel seemed to be all germans staying there and the staff spoke fluent german and not english but they were very nice and not an issue and besides i think its nice to mix with people from other countries.
So, all in all we had a fantastic holiday and would definately go back there.
