Monte da Quinta Club Hotel

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday in a two bed roomed villa at Monte de Quinta. We had never been to the Algarve before, but having had two great holidays in the Greek Islands we thought we would have a change. We were looking for a resort providing villas for flexibility and privacy close to a beach and with a kids club for our 5 year old son, Monte Da Quinta seemed to fit the bill. We stayed here for 2 weeks this August in a 3 bedroom villa. The house was even roomier than the pictures on the website suggest -- it was heaven! Lovely decor, very well maintained, beautiful garden. The daily maid service was much more than a quick straightening of the bed -- she actually vacuumed, mopped, cleaned out the BBQ etc every day! Made my holiday! The only tiny gripes I have about this place is the daily scramble for sunbeds at the pool: arrive too late and there are none left. A lovely resort with the luxury of your own town house or villa. We rented a 4 bed villa with my parents and our 20 month old son. The villa was gorgeous, with all mod con facilities you could wish for. It was immaculate, and the maids come in daily to clean, change towels, and make beds etc. The pool and gardens are wonderful. Only warning .. unfortunately my mum slipped in the shower whilst reaching for the towels ( they are far out of reach!) and broke her shoulder. we stayed at monte da quinta for 2 weeks in august last year. We hired a 2 bed town house with its own plunge pool. The house was really spacious and beautifully decked out with every modern convenience available. The back garden was really well looked after and although small it was pretty private with nice sunbeds and best of all a plunge pool which was the perfect size for our 5 year old. Just returned from a wonderful holiday at Monte da Quinta club. Prior to having children, we were used to staying in 5* luxurious hotels and now really struggle to find something of this standard that is suitable for or young children and our needs alike. We booked 10 nights on 16th August 2006, through Scott Dunn to go with my husband and I and our two young boys, aged three and a half and two years. We stayed in a two bedroomed town house which was beautiful. The accommodation is self-catering but the house is cleaned daily by a maid. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bedrooms and the whole accommodation was lovely. Each house/villa has a pool and we had a plunge pool which was fine for our two young boys to play in.
