Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay Hotel

If you want a little bit of luxery in Mazatlan, stay here! It's gorgeous. You can always take the free shuttle to the main strip where the sister hotel is and take the bus or a taxi to any of the other sights.

After reading the reviews of the complainers they should know what to expect at any timeshare presentation. This was our first visit as owners on Emerald Bay. If you want to relax and not be bothered by loud watercraft, beach beggers and vendors than this is the place for you. People stop your WHINING! The pool is open from 8AM to 10PM with swim up bar service. We only saw 3 bugs which were black crickets (I think people were a little under the table and they imagined being bitten by bugs). We just returned from our 5 day stay at Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay and it was the BEST EVER!! The resort is by far one of the most elegant I have ever encountered. The grounds are immaculate and the service is impeccable. If you can afford it, upgrade to a Master Suite because it is gorgeous and will make your stay extra special! We couldn't believe our eyes when we first saw it. They also provide a free shuttle into town, and from there you can grab a little taxi to wheverever you'd like to go. I just returned with my 3 friends from a fabulous vacation at Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay in Mazatlan. I can't praise it enough, the resort is absolutely beautiful and the service is impeccable but the staff was the best we ever encountered.We have been to Mexico 7n times and this by far was the best. Can't wait to return.

We have owned Pueblo Bonita Mazatlan for several years and have been very happy so decided to add more time at Emerald Bay and did so...Well! when we tried to reserve our floating time...no luck...we gave several options and still "No Master Suite" available...what goes? They are still selling tho...AND I will continue to tell everyone at each opportunity..."DO NOT BUY PUEBLO BONITA EMERALD BAY'. Are they selling it as a hotel and not a timeshare?...Management was rude when I complained.

Was pressured into buying a time share. They want to do business right there and then. They would not do business via mail(First Red Flag), over the phone, via banks. They had no business cards available, no Web page NO way to get ahold of them. I did not buy and this Cabrone's attitude changed. DO NOT GET SUCKED INTO THIS ONE!!!

My husband and I purchased a junior suite preconstuction in 2000. At the time we were staying at Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan -its sister time-share. A friend mentioned if we ever had the chance to attend a presentation at Emerald Bay to "go for it" - it was the BEST advice we ever took. My wife and I went there this Summer in July, and it is the most beautiful resort that we have seen. The sunsets are marvelous and the groungs are kept immaculate. If you want a romantic experience in Old Mexico, The Pueblo Bonita is the place to stay. There time share prices are unbeatable.

The Highlights of this lovely and secluded, gated Resort consisted of its privacy, stunning architecture, and the fine gourmet cuisine (albeit at U.S. prices) of its main restaurant, La Cordelier. The freeform pools were delightful--although they disappointingly closed at 10pm and the open air restaurant near the pool closed at 6pm.
