Service above and beyond
My wife and I spent our 10th anniversary at the Pueblo Bonito Blanco. We were able to see the Rose next door, and Sunset Beach too. We were asked to do the time share thing while there, and were treated like real guests. Sunset Beach turned out to be our favorite. All three Resorts had excellent food with wonderful service. The Staff were always friendly and made our stay a vacation to remember. Everyone was so helpful, and this is what made our stay there so enjoyable. We will be returning, as we are members now. Great service, food,... more
Beautiful Place to Relax!
My wife and I just returned from 5 perfectly relaxing days at Sunset Beach. You will not find a better and beautiful place to just sit and un-wind at the pool. Everywhere you look, you see the blue pacific. The staff was great. The food at poolside and in the main restaurant was of high quality and slightly less expensive than in town. We did have to request a move from our original room because of a poor view, and were moved to a much nicer room with no questions asked. There is construction, but no big deal. All in allwe had a great... more
super nice
Just got back fron the Bonito Rose Sunset Beach and we loved it. Yes, there is construction going on, but we were not disturbed by it. There is not a lot to do but lay out by the pool, but that is exactly what we were looking for ... a nice, quiet vacation. If you want loud music and drinking games, stay over by town. We rented a car and town was only 10 minutes away. Shuttle buses run over to the Bonito Rose every hour if you don't want a car. You can walk to town from the Rose. I found the staff to be very warm and friendly. We never met... more
Come be a part of the construction crew!!!!
Dont be mistaken.this is a TIME SHARE facility with only 3 of the possible 12 buildings set aside for guests (thats you and I buying a hotel room there). And since their main focus in TIME SHARE the 3 hotel buildings are a LONG way away from the beach and main pool. The minute we were driven to our room.as you cant walk anywhere as it is so spread out..we said, back to the lobby we came for a beach vacation not a cart drive to where ever you want to go. The beach was a mile away. Well apparently we werent the only ones with the same... more
Amazing beach, pool, rooms
Having been in my share of timeshares/condo hotels, this one is tops! It's beach is unequalled in the Los Cabos area, simply huge, peaceful, and beautiful. The sun actually sets to the right of the beach (not directly on the water, per se) but the gorgeous oranges, purples, blues, yellows color the sky over the water and behind the buildings of Pueblo Bonito. Yes, 75% of it is still under construction, but you hardly notice unless you are studying the buildings, and it is already incredibly huge. The staff is more courteous and attentive... more
Go to Hawaii
THis is the resort for Americans who go to a foreign country and want to feel like they are in the United States. I could have had the best stateroom on any Mexican Riviera cruise or gone to a 5 star resort in Hawaii for the money that I spent at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. The villas are lovely but the prices are outrageous. A Pacifico beer that is $1.20 in town is $4.25 at Sunset Beach. The food at the La Nao restaurant is expensive and definately overpriced. I had a seafood dish with scallops that literally could bounce off the floor... more
nice but mucho dinero
Very nice place. We have not visited cabo in a few years and were amazed by how prices have doubled. They are getting so expensive nobody will come. You can go to maui for less money now and drink the water.
Noise Noise Noise
May 6, 2003We just got home from the PB Sunset last night. The resort is very nice although there is still a lot of construction going on and ALL DAY NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE, you hear the equipment and it is NEVER QUIET. It drove us nuts!!! The suite we had was incredible- it was the executive suite with 2 huge bathrooms, a partial kitchen, a den area, a huge balcony right on the beach in front of the ocean and a bedroom. The amenities are very very nice and clean, but we could not stand -as I said before - all of the noise. There is only 1... more
avoid the timeshare presentation at all cost!
if i can help just one person out there to avoid the timeshare presentation, then this post will be worth it! the sales pitch is hard and unrelenting. we had an infant son with us, and we pleaded with the salesperson that we did not want to purchase, but he kept pushing. we ended up staying there for 3 (three) hours! he was rude, rude, condescending, rude, and even more cocky! to make it all the worse, they never told us that the vouchers for the parasailing and waverunners was not good the four days out of six that we were there... more
Amazing to say the least!
I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful place to get engaged! We stayed at the Sunset and it is literally paradise! It is secluded enough to be romantic not to mention very prestigious..yet a free shuttle ride to it's sister resort the Rose makes it a short walk from town where everything is jumping. Our plans were to go really see the town and shops..but the resort is so unbelievable with its breathtaking views and impecable service..we only wanted to be pampered! Waking up everyday to the sound of the Pacific Ocean crashing against the... more
