Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar Resort Hotel

The hotel was definitely not up to our standards or expectations. We ended up leaving as soon as possible and going back to the Westin due to the condition of the Sheraton. We had stayed at the Westin Regina Los Cabos 4 years ago and thought the Hacienda del Mar would be equal in quality since both are Starwood hotels. Although the grounds were very pretty, the service and the attitude of the front desk staff would keep me from returning to this hotel.. We loved Cabo and will return, but we will find a hotel that cares!

This is one of the best hotels i have stayed in. Great resturaunts. A beach access that is incredible. You never had to leave this hotel at all. very relaxing, beautiful endless pool. the view from all the rooms were excellent. The beds were comfortable the bathrooms were spacious and nice. My wife and I just spent a week at the Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar. The facility was beautiful. This is a village-type resort with separate buildings linked by stone walkways, with stone fountains and mosaic. The gardens were beautifully landscaped and maintained. We stayed in a "deluxe garden view room", but had a small view of the ocean. There is a half mile private beach which is, to say the least, uncrowded (there were times when my wife and I looked up and down the beach and realized that we were the only ones on it!). We just returned from the Sheraton Hacienda del Sol. It was beautiful! The pictures on the internet didn't do it justice. The people were very nice to us and did whatever we needed. It was very expensive to dine, but hey you're on vacation. So our husbands paid and complained quite a bit. In the end it was sad to leave. We had a wonderful time, but I don't think I will return to the area.

The hotel grounds was nice. The room was an average size room, average style, and look. The food was expensive. I asked the hotel staff why was everything so expensive, they rudly said, "this is a five star hotel you should expect that from a f star hotel."Prices were high, bottled water in the restaurant was $7.20 USD, drinks were $7.20 USD, and a soda was $4.00 USD. This resort is absolutely beautiful. In terms of ambiance, don't hesitate to stay here -- you won't be disappointed! It feels like a much smaller resort due to its several buildings and three separate pools. The resort's "hacienda" architecture and tropical landscaping make the resort very quaint. We just returned from a 5 day stay at the Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar and can say without question this is one of the nicest resorts in Cabo. Upon arrival through a guarded security gate we realized we were in the lap of luxury. Our driver quickly let us know that we were staying at a great resort and also told us that stars such as Nick Cage & Snoop Dog own homes in this same private community. We stayed in an oceanfront suite with a huge balcony overlooking the river shaped pools and the pacific ocean. The service is excellent for Mexico and the staff are charming and helpful. The restaurants are excellent if expensive. Notably the fanciest restaurant Pitahias (not sure of spelling) is not better than the others. Very kid friendly. Would love to go back.

This resort is the most beautiful place in Cabo San Lucas inside and out. From the outstanding service to activies, it was absolutly fabulous.
