Qualton Club Hotel

Spent a week in Acapulco, returned 10/13/04. Stayed at the Qualton in a great room, which was large enough for 4 or 5 people and had a patio overlooking the beautiful ocean. Food exceptional, both Mexican and American, plenty to eat and drink. Dessert bar was my very favorite, lots of goodies. Las Vegas show nightly at no extra charge. Staff very friendly, even though we had a bit of a language problem. Yes, I will go back!

Food very good, tasty and variety. Hotel and room every day was cleaned, change the towels and bed-clothes. Service nice and friendly. Every day wateraerobic, volleyball, show, stretching. I and my family are satisfied. It was a great holiday! Only touristic agency was hopeless. At room is missing hair-drying.

Listen up! I don't care what anyone else put on here.....DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO GO HERE! I've been around the world many times and this is BY FAR the worst palce I've ever stepped foot in. First off, the management doesn't have a clue what is going on! The lack of communication in that place is an understatement. Second, if you like money stolen from you then by all means come here. My 11 year old son and I just returned form a week at the Qualton Club Hotel in downtown Acapulco. I bought the week for a great price but was apprehensive about the location. It turned out to be super. The front of the hotel faces the ocean on a beautiful beach and the back is on a main street in town. There is an upscale mall with movie theatres, two inexpensive internet shops and a large video arcade across the street. The video games at the arcade are inexpensive. What a place, had an absolute ball! Met great people from all over. And still in contact with a couple and that was a couple of years ago. Hotel really good, food not brilliant but they cook everything different there. Money talks for all the staff the more tips the better service. But they are great overall. Entertainment day and night. Dancings are just out of this world been many places even Ibiza cant beat their dancings. Would highly recommend. I just loved it, best holiday ever for all ages!! We arrived on Friday, The weekend is the best time to go as they have a live band only on the weekend. Their are two parts to the hotel. Stay at the main hotel, this is where you check-in. Tell them you want to stay on that part of the hotel. All the rooms face the ocean. The rooms are just o-kay. The food... was alright, just to spicy and we are not acustomed to that. We have traveled with another couple three times to Acapulco and stayed at the Ritz. The hotel is immaculate and the staff very eager to please. After a day of fishing we could come back to the oceanside hotel for a swim and an early "snack" and happy hour at the poolside restaurant before going out for supper. The rooms were great and we couldn't ask for more.

I had a great time! The animation kept you moving all day long! Everyone was very freindly. The hotel is very clean and the service is ok! If you go to Acapulco this is the place to go. But watch out cause they drive like maniacs. You can get runned over by some taxi driver. They also drive a little crazy i thought i was going to die. But besides that everything is super. Just spent a week at the Qualton Club...what a beautiful time we had! Met lots of new friends and had a great time with the entertainment team. Everyday they posted the day's activities, as well as the entertainment show and disco that was featured that night. We did have to get up early to "reserve" seats on the beach. There is a roped off area where the beach peddlers were not allowed to cross. Security guards were everywhere. If you were not a Qualton customer, they did stop you from entering. Stayed at the Qualton Club over Christmas 2003. Only Americans there. Some Canadians. The hotel was nice for Mexico and the rooms were large enough. We had a suite. 1 king and 2 twins seperated by a door and we each had our own bath with showers. If you need a bathtub for a child, need to request, not all rooms have tubs. The hotel is only all-inclusize and they do provide alot of foods but the drinks are limited. You only have one choice of beer. "Sol" but there are more fruity drinks to choose from.
