Wouldn't change a thing!
I stayed at the Fiesta Inn with a friend in Feb 2006. This hotel is centrally located, clean, and the staff is friendly. The two pools were great! One pool has sunshine all day, and sometimes has upbeat music playing. The other pool has more shade (from palm trees), is very quiet, and has a bar beside it. Don’t worry about bringing a towel in your suitcase; you can use the hotel’s towel service at no extra charge. There was a security guard walking around all day to make sure everything was safe. There is a small beach area in... more
We had a great time
After reading some reviews about the air-conditioner from 'El Presidente' next door, we asked to see the room before check in... We were shown a room on the other side which was very nice, but wanted to get one on the end facing the beach. The receptionist was very nice in giving us 1516, which was on the end on the top floor. There is nothing bad to say about this place. The staff were great, the food was fine, the location was perfect.. We would go back in a heart beat!!!
if you like noisy Air conditionning
I just get back and we are a little bit desapointed of Fiesta Inn (120 dol/night) because there is an huge and very noisy Air conditionning machine from the hotel next door ( the President) and all rooms of East side can hear it. A little point not mentioned, it is that you have to pay 5 dol/day to park your car. Good points for the hotel are the 2 pools, rooms with sea-view and service. By the way, if you want to eat great Shushi, go to the restaurant of Boca Chica hotel (you need to take a taxi or your car) around 20... more
Very Nice
The Fiesta Inn was everything the reviews stated, outstanding value, super clean with an incredible view of the bay. The rooms were nice, but please if you want mega luxury, then stay in the Mayan Resort (or some where in the Diamond area of Aca.). Again if you are looking for a very clean, secure and a centrally located hotel with nice pools, etc. The Fiesta Inn is for you. A nice surprise was that as a guest at the hotel, you are allowed to use the Fiesta Americana’s facilities (they are cousins). The Fiesta Americana is almost next door... more
Super Hotel Shame about RESTURANT
My husband & I stayed for 14 day in this hotel. Spotlessly clean. Front desk very helpful. Rooms maid were super & very friendly, changed sheets every day & towels! Two Pools & area was very nice. The only problem was the resturant:- very slow service, not clean, slow to clear plates, food was cold, & to top it all they let the piegons walk all over the clean cutlery on the tables. It was a shame as the food is not cheap & it let down the whole place. It took over 15 mins to wait... more
NOt bad for money- but beware of shamu, kids and DJ
My wife, some friends, and I were looking for a relaxing vacation. We have traveled extensively in Mexico and my wife lived their for a while so we basically new what to expect. Overall the hotel was nice and clean with great views of the bay and the surrounding mountains. I agree with the comments about the consierge. They tried to give us the hard sell upon arrival. Unfortuantely this is unavoidable in most resorts. Our friends had repeated problems with their air conditioner, though the staff was fairly receptive. We avoided... more
Great Hotel, Great Location, Great View
Had one week to find a tropical place to go that was reasonably priced. Found a real bargain at the Fiesta Hotel in Acapulco. We had a corner room, with a wrap around balcony. The view was magnificent, the room spacious and the staff outstanding. The hotel is right on the strip, within walking distance of resturants and clubs. It's definitely a place I would recommend.
rooms with views
The bay views make this hotel just wonderfull. Very clean , staff great, right on the beach. TWO problems though!! firstly the hotel next door has this HUGE air cond unit that makes heck of a noise 24/7. If you are at the front of the hotel then its fine and I would say the best views of Acapulco anywhere. but this noise would spoil your comfort. Also when we stayed Mar 05 the other side of the hotel was a building site (we asked to move to the front as it was that bad) Second problem but only minor The... more
Please stay here!
This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The staff is friendly, courteous and FRIENDLY. I felt like a princess. I was traveling alone. The rooms ARE clean, big and I had a Superior Ocean View Room with an actual room of THE OCEAN! I was on the 14th floor where I could hear the roar of the ocean at night. No bathroom plumbing problems, everything worked great. The restaurant serves a scrumptious breakfast buffet, everything else is decent. It is smack in the middle of everything--restaurants, stores, bus routes, taxis, the... more
Will return soon
We are a couple in our late 20s from Boston, and we spent 10 nights at the hotel, from Dec 20th '04 to Jan 6th '05. We couldn't have been more pleasantly suprised by the hotel and the town as well. We got a corner "smoking" room on the 14th floor, meaning that we had a huuuuge balcony overlooking the ocean. We're both non-smokers and the room not once smelled like cigarette smoke throughout our stay. We loved the location, right in the middle of things restaurants, shops and discos. The pools are rather small and they tend to get crowded w/... more
