We've just come back from Sa Coma where we stayed at the Blau Club. Yes there were quite a few Germans but it didn't worry us. Apartments basic but clean. Facilities were good although we used the beach every day. Staff very helpful and polite. The only thing I would say about this resort (and no doubt others) and the reason for me writing this review, is to ask ANYONE visiting Sa Coma or other resorts PLEASE DO NOT USE the horse and carriage rides. These horses are worked from 9.00am until 11/12 midnight. They are completely worn out. It may seem great going for a carriage ride or getting a lift back to your hotel but PLEASE look at the condition of the horse (even if you know nothing about horses, you can tell if they are tired) and spare a thought for these poor animals. Thanking you in anticipation of your co-operation.

Stayed for a week at beginning of July 2008 s/catering. Lovely welcome at reception with free drinks for us all and porter took cases to room. Room a bit disappointing. Large enough but very basic i.e. no kettle/toaster and limited cutlery. Very clean with maid service every day however they turned up different times each day. We were on ground floor and it was very safe. Took 2 children and beds more than adequate for them. Poor tv with only 2 english channels news! but you dont go on holiday to watch tv so this was ok. Big bathroom with bidet. Best thing re room was air conditioning - super as it was very hot. Beach fab but lots of seaweed in sea. Look out for woman selling melon/pineapple as v.expensive and she is very pushy!! We walked to Cala Millor and S'illot which only took 15 mins at most so dont be conned into taxi. Took boat trip to Porto Cristo. Roads v.queit in sa coma. Overall we had good holiday but would only recommend to people wanting relaxing break as if you have kids over age of 10 not for you as not much to do there. Best food place - mighty oak pub totally british massive portions and reasonable. Best Spa food shop opposite marfil playa hotel as this was cheapest by far. Total german resort! Didnt bother us mind you and had no probs.

Having not been to Sa Coma before, we were pleasantly surprised with the position of the apartments to the beach. Of which was clean and perfect for children.

The promenade made it quite a safe haven also. But we did have the children’s motorised cars cruising up and down and those awful electric scooters, which appeared from nowhere. But this was liveable.

The apartments were cleaned daily, the towels, and bed linen changed regularly.

They are built in three floors, no lifts. So very good exercise if you are on the top. We took our own kettle as you get wise to the Spanish kitchenettes.

Overall we were very pleased with the apartment, its facilities, the beach, and the area. We would definitely return. It was so nice to be at a place where everywhere was clean. We had a great time.

Very few English, mostly German tourists here in this complex.
