Bellino Apartments

WOW!!!i am sure i found heaven..its not a joke,heaven EXISTS,and bellino is its name!!

the best holidays i ever had.thanks mama Soula for the great time we had at Bellino me and my friends.the food was fantastic and George's cocktails the best i ever had.everyone have to go there

myself and my wife stayed in many places but this was well below standard!
sheets were very bad no towels on first day and then was acused of loosing them when the cleaner {who was also the cook} came to change them on the second day
the food was really bad and what was worse we wore over charged the first 3 days we eat there by the cook/cleaner so check your change and what your been charged for.
we found that seening we were the first guest of the season the rooms were not cleaned propperly and we found that one of the two chairs was broke since the year before!
over all i wount recommand going there at the start of the season and most off all check your room and report as soon as possable any issues as we nearly were charged for towels we never got on the first day
the owner was nice but watch out for the staff and mind your valuables

We went to Bellino me and my 6 pals and stayed in 3 rooms . When we were looking for our holiday, we searched the net and found bellino's website... we read the reviews and it was just excellent . also a friend stayed a year before and he said that he had great holidays with mama soula ....even though i had stayed in luxury hotels , mama soula welcomed us from the first minute we arrived at bellino and made a welcome meeting at the pool and explained what she can offer and gave us advice on renting quadbikes and stuff , that helped us a lot .. mama soula made our holidays become the best days of our life , , the girls emma and aine helped with everything we needed!!!!!!!!!!I havechanged my opinion for big hotels BELLLINO 4 EVA!!!!!

What can i say about bellino,it was the best spot,"a home away from home"!loved every minute of it and was made feel at home.Mama Sulu was the best hostess as was emma.
food was savage as it was cooked in front of your eyes.
Plus there was only a small no of guests staying there when we were staying and there was 8 of us in it,os we all came home with 20 new friends than b4 we went out there.
the apts are only 5 mins from the strip,strongly recommend going to players,temple bar,the shamrock and go to the aqua park.mad craic.
am hoping to go back again this year.
apts are basic but you wudnt want to eat in ne way.

Having travelled to many places have to say this was the worst experience of my life!!!!!!!me and my friend wanted a relaxing hoiday-to say the least we got the opposite!!felt lik I was back in school-all 18 year olds!!she tried to rip us off!and pratically treaten us when we said we didnt want a safe as our other friend had one in they'r apartment!
Our towels were ripped,and we got an end of a toilet roll,when asked if we could have some she pointed us in the direction of a supermarket!!Bins werent changed
Then on camera somebody robbed something,and she and her cleaning lady came up screaming at us to pay.She wouldnt explain what was that was supose to be taken just said pay or call the police.We had no bother about this and told her to watch the camera again but we we'r made wait over an hour until she finished her cigarette and dinner!!It was'nt until the culprit admitted they had done it that we could go,without so much as a sincere appology!!and from then on our rooms were never cleaned!!!
Utter joke of a place!all we wanted was to relax with some sun!!If you want to actually enjoy urself on holiday-dnt stay there.needless to say we booked a fantastic hotel the week after!!

It was the best holidays i ever had !!!!!
those people know abou good hospitality, to make u understand the owner wanted to call her mama soula!
she really treated us like her children ,lol.
the resort have nothing to be jealus of any big hotels .
it has air-co, bathroom, safe,boilers , kichen , everything that u need in your holidays, even free wi fi for people that carry laptops with them. and they even give u to use a laptop to see ur emails bebo and stuff.
the food is just so healthy,
they cook EVERYTHING in front of your eyes, with olive oil !!!!
make sure to try the french fries of mama sula, they are a piece of heaven.
what else ?
cleaness: they took everyday out our garbage and they gave us clean towels and [-] .
i am really looking farward go there again, u got to go there too.

This is the ideal location for a great holiday!!
Mama Sula is a fantastic hostess.She does everything she can to help you at any time. Her cooking is lovely. All members of staff were all friendly.
The apartments we had were a studio. They were simple but had everything we needed. They are situated on a slight hill but its quite manageable and only a few minutes walk to town.
Defiantly go to star beach it has great restaurants, pubs and clubs. Head to Players, Status,Shenanigans and the Matrix club. All perfect for a mad night out.
Id also recommend the trip to Spinalonga Island as its interesting with fantastic views and a great day out for all.
Bring insect spray as theres a lot of trees around the apts and you might get the odd bite..
Bellino is perfect for couples of all ages, young and lively and families. Will def be headin back there again next year.!!!!

Stayed there last summer for one week with a group of mates as part of our 6th year holiday. These apartments were NOT the type u wanna stay in if ur goin on a 6th year holiday. There quiet and relaxing.... two words that Irish 6th year holidayers dont want hear when they go to Crete. There's only about 6 apartments in the complex 2 which means not alot of people. Most of the residence staying there were couples in their 20's - 30's. Its a perfect resort for them.
Having said that though. There was always free sunbeds by the pool to relax. The pool and the view from the pool were amazing. There is a minibar there that serves food. I would strongly reccommend Mama Sulos home made chips.
The apartments were located 15 min walk from the strip of clubs/bars which was pretty handy because most other apartments Mika Villas & Dream, were 2 far from the strip to walk. Taxi home at night would cost €8 max to Bellino. It was only a 10 min walk to the local supermarket.
The apartment itself was clean & comfy. The air con (which u have to pay extra for by the way) was a bit annoying. All the doors, windows had to be closed for it to even switch on. A bit of a nuisance.
The staff were really nice. Mama Sulo was an absolute legend. Would get us whatever we needed, gave us advice about the area & orderd us taxis. Even let us use her own laptop one time when we needed it. Its a real pleasant & family run place.
Overall we had a savage time. Crete is an amazing place... Great nightlife with amazing sunrises!! It wasnt the sort place we were looking for but would greatly suit a different sort of holidayer.

The apartments overall are not very nice to say the least. When I arrived at the Bellino, the floor was dirty and the sheets were not even changed from the last occupants of the room.
The kitchen and bathroom are what you would expect from a 0 star hotel so they came as no surprise The only good thing about the apartments was the service. Mama Sula was very caring and helped us in every way she could and also cooks a lovely barbecue.
