Petasos Beach Hotel

I would definitely recommend this hotel for its location, outstanding service, food, and hospitality. We went with 3 other families with kids and had the absolute best time! First, the bell boy carried 4 of our heaviest suitcases at the same time all the way up to our second-floor room. We just got back from our honeymoon in Greece & Turkey. We booked our travel with the World of Vacations. We had a good time, but parts of our trip were rocky. We departed Toronto at 12 pm, and had one stopover, so our arrival in Greece was at 8 am Greek time. We thought we would be maybe an hour from our hotel at this point. We were wrong! We had to wait to be taken to a bus, which was really confusing. This place was absolutely amazing! I went to this hotel in June 05 and spent 7 days here - my husband and I were on our honeymoon. The hotel staff were very pleasant and accommodating, the room was very clean and there was a complimentary safe in your room, which saved us from having to worry about taking all of our cash everywhere. There was also an in-room fridge, where we kept our bottled water cool. It is quite hot in Greece, so lots of water is a must! Hotel Petasos was a great place stay. It is conveniently located next to a beautiful beach where we spent many hours. The pool is beautiful. Possibly, the best part of the hotel is the complimentary breakfast. It included everything from eggs (hard/soft and scrambled), cereal, crossiants and meats to pastries. Our only complaint is the driver didn't wait for us at the dock after getting off the boat so we had to spring for a cab. It took over us an hour to flag one down!

We stayed at the PB hotel for 4 nights. We found the lobby of the hotel to be amazingly modern and beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly(look for Vicky); all spoke english. The walk to to the room wasn't very far and we found it easily accesible to the pool and restaraunts. We also enjoyed that all of the walks to the facilities are outside. This was my first trip to Mykonos. My room was very nice and new. It was decorated in an art deco style, and the balcony overlooked the pretty pool area with a view out over the ocean beyond the pool. The buffet breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They had free internet connections in the lobby. The hotel was close to the beach and there were several restaurants on the beach to choose from. You have to go into town (or to another beach) if you are looking for nightlife, but there is a bus that runs at least... more

We were due to stay at the Petasos Beach hotel for 2 nights. Our flight had been overbooked meaning and our airline were unable to offer us an alternative flight due to it being peak holiday season in the UK, and because many flights had been cancelled due to the Dutch air traffic control strike. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this Hotel.......SETTING is ideal, rooms are CLEAN, as is entire resort........RESTAURANTS are plentiful in area...the MANAGER (Yanni) is very accommodating. We have stayed at the Petasos Beach hotel twice, and would go back again..in a minute. I stayed here in June 2001 and food / service was great. Extremely excellent location...steps from the beach & water taxi to other beaches and the local bus stop (to go into the city) is right in front of the hotel. They did a really nice Greek Feast Dinner on Friday nite when I was there...not sure if they still do it, but it was great!!!

Have stayed at the Petasos for six yeears in a row.Wonderful and helpfull staff.Incredibly friendly!Can't wait for next Sept to return!Like going home!
