Mykonos Grand Hotel

The Mykonos Grand Hotel is a fantastic hotel and worth every penny. From the moment I arrived I felt I was in a luxury hotel. We were picked up at the Airport by the hotel's own bus, our luggage was handled by the porters and the check in was very expedient. The person who checked us in (we found out later it was the Hotel Manager) took us on a tour to our hotel room and pointed out the locations of the facilities and restaurants on the way. This place is very nice, we stayed for 2 nights on our honeymoon, they upgraded us to the pool suite for free and agve us a nice bottle of wine. The room was a smaller than I would have expected for what you could "potentially" pay, but the view was great, and the furnishings we quite nice. Note though, that if you are thinking about the private pool rooms, you share them with the suite next door, they are not totally private. My wife and I just spent a week at the hotel for our honeymoon. The hotel exceeded our expectations, the rooms were new, clean, and well furnished. The staff was always very friendly and did not hesitate to try and meet your every need. The views from the pool and beach are worth the trip alone. I can't imagine a better place to stay if you are traveling to Mykonos.

Just got back. Highly recommended. Here's why: Location: Ornos beach is a couple miles from town. It probably depends on why you're going, but this was perfect for us. If you're going to party, you may want to stay in town, like at the Belvedere (where we had a drink and thought it looked first class). It was in fact not always great getting a cab out of town after the bus service ends at 1. But the town is a bit dingy on the outskirts during the day. We visited Mykonos Grand Hotel & Resort. The Staff was exceptionally friendly. The Hotel exceeded my expectations. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Not to be missed. The location was excellent. We could take a taxi to Town for 6 Euros or the bus which ran every 30 minutes for a little over 1 Euro. The pool was to die for and the beach was a 2 minute walk down the stairs. The sand was nice. My wife and I just returned from a great vacation on Mykonos and had a great stay here. The hotel staff is very attentive and very friendly. The pool and beach areas are beautiful and well maintained. We had breakfast and lunch here daily and the food was excellent. I would highly recommended this hotel to anyone. We enjoyed being out of the main town as it is very lively and wanted a quite setting.

The Hotel is excellent in every aspect: fine beach, good bedrooms, swimpool, restaurant, and espectacular views. The sunset in particulary is overwelming! Next trip to Mykonos I will stay there definitely.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Mykonos Grand for 3 days in October and it was fabulous. We were supposed to stay at a property next door but they unexpectedly closed early for the season. I had arranged a private villa w/ pool at the other property so my agent was able to get us a room with pool at Mykonos Grand. Our first trip Sept of 2004 to Mykonos was most enjoyable because of the Mykonos Grand. The owner, Mr. Argiris Dactilidis, did a fantastic job of this hotel and resort. In fact, he drives the hotel's shuttle bus and is very informative about Mykonos. One of his son's runs this hotel. The staff is outstanding and they treat you like king and queen. They make you feel that you are part of their family. Definitely attend the "Greek Night" at their sister hotel in downtown Mykonos. It was one night that we will never forget.

A lovely hotel for romance. While it is a bit difficult to find the way to your hotel room (lots of curves and stairways) and the free internet access is not reliable, the rooms are beautifully appointed and you can even get a plunge pool on your patio. The sunsets are to die for, even better when viewed from the jacuzzi. At the hotel spa, they have treatments including a thermal olive oil massage. Heaven! The beach is much more secluded than other beaches on Mykonos island. I definitely recommend this hotel!
