We found it to be a good choice of hotel. We were picked up at the ferry by Anna and taken directly to the hotel and shown our room right away.
Anna then spent some very useful time with us giving us local information on Mykonos... which restaurants to visit and the best way to get around. We found this information to be invaluable!
Our room was very nice and had a fantastic view. One small thing we found with our room was that the bed was very creaky and woke us up in the night if either of us moved at all.
Other than that our room was great! The hotel had a very nice pool and bar area which we used on several occasions. Anna's brother Jimmy was always at the bar and made us some fantastic drinks. He also had some great tips for us on places to eat/things to do.
The hotel is in a good location - only a 10 minute walk to town. Although just a warning, that the walk is up or down a hill depending on which way you are going, so if you are elderly or have a disability you will want to keep this in mind.
We ended up renting a car for a few days and found this to be the best way to see the entire island.
Mykonos is definitely a nightlife island and Hotel Tagoo is a great place to stay if you are going to visit.
Anna and all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful (make sure to visit the bakery on the main road that Anna suggests - it is to die for). The rates are fantastic - you shouldn't be disappointed!
