We stayed one week in the Sema Hotel and we had great time. Tha owner Ali Çörüt and his family were very nice and were allways ready to help us visiting the places here around. The ensuite rooms have new air conditioning system and are very cleaned. There is the possibility to eat and Ali's wife is a really good cooker.

I have stayed in several hotels in Patara over the last 10 years. This place is well run by the enthusiastic Corut family. This is their home too, so you will be made to feel especially welcome and experience Turkish family life in its all its aspects. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel has a unique position overlooking the valley and the village. Enjoy a drink from your balcony watching wonderful sunsets. Cooling breezes in the summer and minimal mozzies!!!! Spotless and lovely food.... These people are farmers too, so expect a wide variety of fresh produce throughout the season.I will probably stay for two months this year !!!!!!!!

I found the hotel on their web page, we had been to Patara a number of times but had never stayed overnight so we chose the Sema for our first stop over, and what a great choice. I am just about to book again for this year.
We caught a cruise with V-GO travel from Fethiye, arriving at Demre and from there a bus to the end of the road to Patara where a bus took us direct to the hotel. It was a great way to start our holliday and I can really recomend V-GO travel for a boat cruise.

Just to add my "tuppence" worth. I’ve stayed at the Sema on my last three visits to Patara. As it’s the ideal place for any traveler who wants the true Turkish experience. I’ve tried a few other places in Patara but find the Hotel Sema suits my needs exactly.
It can’t be beaten for location, hospitality, ambience and last but not always least, price. The hotel is nice and clean and has 12 rooms all with air-con. It’s family run and Ali and Hanifa, always make you feel very welcome. They specialise in traditional family cooking with most of the ingredients coming from their own garden.
Their breakfasts, which have been mentioned here before, are great and you can eat breakfast at any time. And, unlike the other hotels, there is no extra charge for things like air-con. It’s less than a minute to the centre of town and the Sema’s elevated position means there are fewer mosquitoes than in the low-lying accommodation in the village. Add to this the welcome cool sea breezes and the views from your balcony and it’s ideal.
Hotel Sema doesn't have it's own swimming pool although why would you want to sit round a pool when the best beach in the Mediterranean is only 20 mins walk or a 3 min bus ride away.
Ali and Hanifa can offer transfers to and from Dalaman airport, which usually takes 1 and 3/4 hours. This is brilliant, if you’re short on time and don’t want to hang about waiting for buses. I’ve just discovered that they now have a website which will show you photos of the hotel and Patara so you can judge for yourselves. I can’t recommend it enough.

Over the years we have stayed in many of Patara's hotels but have found the Hotel Sema to be by far the best in terms of location, hospitality and price.
It's elevated position high above the village offers great views of the surrounding countryside and also means it's virtually mozzie-free. You are only 1 minutes walk from the centre of town and 20 mins to the beach.
The rooms are nice and clean with aircon and the breakfasts, which can be taken at anytime, are legendary amongst the hotel's regular visitors.
Half the price of comparative hotels nearby, the friendliness and service of the Sema is second to none and the family who run it couldn't have been more hospitable. I hope this hotel isn't given the publicity that it deserves as it should be kept a secret...
We found the hotel website on the internet and we booked our rooms and transfer online!
