" The Palm Garden apartments was... "

The Palm Garden apartments was fantastic especially the barman Martin, he was lovely and served gorgeous food and was very kind. It was very clean and friendly with lots of fantastic people.
The only problem in Palm Gardens was that there was no kids clubs or no entertainment. Apart from that everything was fantastic. The food and drink martin served was very cheap.
The pool was a nice size and you could get sun beds very easy, the surroundings are fantastic with lots of palm trees. Also when you are stood on your balcony you can see the planes flying over.
Airport is very close by and you are the first drop off from the coach, our rep was fantastic she told us everything we needed to know about the resort. Apartments close by to everything. Recommended to Families.

" Great weather but surrounding area of... "

Great weather but surrounding area of the palm gardens very baron and isolated. Hotel itself very clean and staff very polite and friendly.
But the only downfall was that there was no evening entertainment, with two children this became very hard to keep them occupied.
Onsite restaurant is highly recommended and reasonably priced compared to restaurants on the front and a wide variety of food options for adults and children. The only disappointment was that the rep from First Choice was not very knowledgeable on any topics given to her.

Pool small but again clean & large enough to cool down in. Plenty of sun loungers but hard plastic with no mattress, I did suggest they could hire out mattresses but no-one interested, as they don’t need the sunshine as much as us Brits I don’t suppose they spend as long trying to get the tan, god, I thought I was getting piles by the end of a week on a bed, but should be grateful weather was 25 deg end of Oct.
Cafe snack bar was the best. Martin, Olga & Maria all excellent, really good selection of meals at good prices, if you like a Brit breakfast you will love it here. We were in room 302 it is overlooking the hills is away from the noise perfect in every way. Just before the main street is a shop & bar called Unos, it has all the wines, spirits, beers you could wish to buy, you can take away or drink outside on the premises same price and he supplies you with the glasses! Litre white rum 5euros, all the popular bottled beers 90cents, this is a very popular place and no wonder at these prices.
Chinese next door but one, very poor, real rip off touristy, turn left out of apartments, 5mins walk lovely Chinese in Spanish quarters. Taxi only 8euros from airport, bus to Ibiza town 1.20 or 6euro by taxi. now for the bad news, Palm Gardens have finished with First Choice after 11 years, its the amount First Choice want to pay out, so its booking direct only foe next year at least, finally a few expected Playa en Bossa to be lively in Oct, please note Ibiza is very quiet until June and again after the end of Sept, a lot of places are only open in midsummer.
