We stayed here with our family of four adults and three children and found the hotel very comfortable. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the food plentiful, varied and well presented. As we had small children one of our rooms was at the back with no views but the noise from nearby hotels was not intrusive and the kids were not disturbed once asleep. One pool had an area fenced off for the kids so they were easy to monitor in the pool. Overall the hotel and resort were very pleasant and the kids all want to go back next year, I would not be disappointed to return to the resort and hotel.

we were backpacking around Spain and Mallorca and found this hotel great. We even rebooked and extended our stay. I loved the food, it was mainly Spanish/European and there was always plenty of choice. I did hear a number of English people complaining about the "rubbery onion rings", which were in fact calamari.......

The only good thing i could say about this hotel is the room is cleaned daily, Other than that if you read the other reviews it tells you everything also as this is a german based hotel we even had problems comunicating with some of the staff it shouldn't be a major problem to get a drink in the hotel bar i didn't exspect to have to play sharades.

We have just returned home from a week at Anba Romani. I have to agree with most of the previous comments.
Walls are thin - I could have a conversation with my daughters next door, through the walls and I could hear our other neighbours snoring.
The food was dreadful - we ate out most days. We didn't like the look of the casseroles offered, especially the Rabbit. The pork ribs were fatty and the choice of desserts were the same every night - chocolate mousse, blamonche, jelly, crème caramel, ice cream or bruised fruit.
The morning juice machine offered what tasted like squash with lots of sweetener.
The rooms were very small and dated. The timber framed door that lead out onto the balcony hadn't seen any varnish or preservative for years, but, the room was clean and we could pick up BBC1 on the TV.
Be warned - take some air freshener with you because there is no ventilation in the bathroom! We had to wash quickly because the plug didn't fit the sink, but at least there was plenty of hot water.
We didn't use them, but the pools looked O.K.

This hotel is a huge disappointment. When we walked into our room one of the ceiling tiles had been removed and there was a big open space as a result. The heat and the air con did not work.
The beds were uncomfortable and the walls are paper thin, could literally hear our neighbours’ conversations word for word. Food was atrocious, by the end of the week we were eating out. There is a very scary and VERY rude woman working in the eating area and make sure you sit in the right spot or she comes down on you and it is not pretty.
I would say the only good thing I have to say about this hotel is the guy who was at the front desk all week, when I was not feeling well and everything was closed he gave me a free bottle of water. He was also very helpful at telling us where to go and what to see. Other than that, it was a huge disappointment and I would not go back there again.

Mainly Germans at this hotel, so be prepared if you want to stay for the evening entertainment. Room very spacious with side sea view. Fresh towels & cleaned every day, if it wasn’t for the fact the food was barely edible this could easily be at least 4*.
Would go b&b next time as it really was only the food & service which really lets the
hotel down. Fantastic location with the beach at the front & town at the back, a 15min stroll along the promenade to Cala bona which is very Brit orientated, with small harbour.
We prefer Cala Millor as the beach is beautiful with very safe bathing. Best resort my husband & myself have stayed at, (we've been all over!).

The setting was brilliant, by the beach, not too busy but not too quiet, stuff for everyone, location was ideal for all! Hotel was very clean and facilities were ok. The food was horrendous, even the Germans where unhappy with the menu, we ate breakfast there twice in a week. Eggs where undercooked, cornflakes were like quavers with milk and the bread tasted cheap (I've eaten food all over the world, and there's no excuse for this standard especially in Majorca!)
It’s a shame because this hotel has the potential to be a 5 star. It desperately needs to spend money on entertainment, it was horrendous, the kids club reps doing the shows eg. Sister Act (the stage version) all mimed, and shows from the west end and grease again all mimed. Then there was some weird clown show, along with a guy doing jazz on a trumpet but all mimed, then to finish the week a guy singing songs (karaoke - words on his laptop). So naturally we went out. The kids club was poor for my 6 yr old cousin, she found it boring. The so called games area desperately needs updating.
We where lucky enough to meet a fantastic group of Germans, who had the same issues with the hotel. I can honestly say the people there where exceptionally friendly other Brits (few), Germans and staff (except the old woman on reception she was a battleaxe!).
We did ask for a sea view and had a street view and when we arrived at 6.30am we stayed in a room across the street first, for a few hours. When we were leaving they wanted us out (the battleaxe) at 12pm and wouldn’t tell us if we could extend the room until we were leaving, she was being arsy because they had already let our German friends extend and they were leaving on same day as us!
One of our German friends had words with woman and we were allowed to stay right until taxi picked us up for €15 which was 13hrs extra. We all really enjoyed this holiday and like I said the hotel let itself down it and really could be top quality but it really is Medioca.

About 2 hours from the airport but some lovely views while travelling. A very fresh, clean hotel. The food is different, mainly meats and cheeses (no English fry ups) but quite nice (the puddings are spectacular).
The area is great for small kids, right on the beach and close to the parks. Bikes are available to hire right next door. There are a few 'Brit' cafes and pubs where you can get ya Sunday lunch. Everyone we met there were really friendly (and mainly German). I would recommend it!!

Cala Millor is a lovely family resort. It has a beautiful safe beach, and a clear blue warm sea (with no nasty jellyfish).
The shops and restaurants are great too. The hotel is very near the beach, and the food at the hotel is good, varied and plentiful, served buffet style. The service however for tables to be cleared and drinks to be served is appalling. It is very disorganised. The resort and the hotel are very German, with most of the hotel instructions being in German and all the evening entertainment. Also, sunbeds were quickly reserved with typical German efficiency. Perhaps they could teach the Spanish some of their organisational skills!
We had 2 rooms on different floors, and the air con didn’t work in either. Also, most of the lights were not working. However, the rooms were large, and clean with excellent sea views.
I would rate the resort 9/10, and the hotel 6/10

fantastic area, nice food, friendly staff. my 19year old daughter and i went out of season and even though it was quiet the entertainment in the hotel was still good fun! we will definatley go back. the sandy beach was the hotels back garden! very clean. would not reccomend this hotel for wheelchair users i am disabled myself and managed the small flight of steps to the dining room. would definately reccomend this hotel for all ages.
