Loved the location of this hotel, right on the beach and only a short walk to the main bars and restaurants. Was here with my husband and 4 yr old and 2 year old. We all loved it.
Rooms are basic but very clean with a gorgeous view of the pool, beach and harbour! No air conditioning but the fans were effective.
There was entertaintment for the kids every day from colouring to t-shirt printing and pool games for older kids. Don't really know about the evening entertainment as we always went out.
Outside of the hotel there ws lots of parks for the children and would recommend Alcudia for any family.Would definately stay here again!!

Just stayed here for a week, the reception area and bar of the hotel are very good.
We had a room on the bottom floor with great views of the pool and beach! Although there wasn’t air conditioning the fans were effective. Room was basic but had everything we needed, too many German TV channels though!
The Alcudia resort was like going to Essex but the Port area of Alcudia is much nice and has many great restaurants.
This hotel is in a great location you can practically walk onto the beach, with a couple of air conditioning units and some nicer furniture it could easily be a 4* complex

I stayed at the Paraiso de Alcudia with my son, daughter, son in law and their two young children aged 2 years and 7 months. The hotel has a perfect location if you like the beach, as a few steps around the pool and you are on the beach, which is very clean and the water is very shallow and safe. There is a jetty in front of the hotel from there you can get boat excursions around the island or into the port of Alcudia, which can also be reached by walking along the promenade, it will take about 30 minutes at a stroll.
The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are large with plenty of storage space. All basic kitchen equipment was provided, but take a travel kettle with you. Our rooms were cleaned 6 out of 7 days and fresh towels were provided at your request (leaving dirty ones on the bathroom floor).
We had booked at reception to upgrade to half board, which cost €20 per person per day, children half price. The food was of a very good standard, with many items being cooked on a large griddle while you watched, the pancakes in the morning were a favourite of ours. The only downside of the restaurant was the childrens highchairs as they had no straps or trays, but this seems to be standard in many of the restaurants we visited, we will take reins next year.
The pool was large and clean with a shallow section for children, we were able to get sun beds when we did spend time at the pool, you can also hire beach towels from reception for a small deposit.
We never used the childrens entertainment during the day but my grandson did join in during the evenings but this was only for 30 minutes each night and was the same dance routines every evening but he enjoyed it and made a few friends. The adult entertainment consisted of quizzes, competitions and on a couple of evenings out side acts came to the hotel, it was finished by 10.30 and the bar closed at 12.00.
The hotel is in a quiet cul de sac but within a few minutes walk you are at the hub of restaurants, shops, entertainment, bus stops etc
The hotel was mainly used by British and Danish people and was ideal for a "family" holiday. As it was early in the season the hotel was not full and there were a pool bar/cafe and childrens section of the restaurant which was not being used but in no way did that spoil the holiday and we are looking forward to going back next year.

We had a fab holiday here, myself and hubby took apartment next door to my daughter, she had her 3 boy's aged 5 + 2 yrs old twins and babysitter with her, It was so safe for them. Straight out on to the beach everyday for lovely walks. Rooms very spotless, food good.
Only snag I found was that the bar closed around 11pm so just when we were getting a bit of time out we had to go up the town for nightcap, but that was a small price to pay for the great holiday.
The staff were excellent and so friendly.. I will most definitely be going back, it was a last minute booking and it worked out so well, thanks to all there.

We moved to this hotel half way through our two week holiday from the Jupiter. It was the Jupiter staff who arranged it, because they apparently have some sort of arrangement with them.
Well, Thank Goodness! At least my nightmare holiday at the Jupiter was turned round by our stay at this hotel. The only pain (and it's not the fault of this hotel) is that we had to go back to the Jupiter to eat (we were on an All Inclusive basis). We did have breakfast at the Paraiso and it was lovely.
What we really liked about it was the space in the apartment. I can imagine if you meant to do proper self catering it would be difficult, because you've only got 2 electric rings (no oven). And there's no electric kettle. Neither of these things bothered us. The ceiling fans (no aircon) are extremely effective. Entertainment magnificent. The hotel has their own entertainment team who keep kids busy all day and evening. And because of the size of the place it's not too busy. We have young children who hated the Jupiter because they kept getting lost and there were too many bigger children, but loved it here because the children were younger, the entertainment crew treated them as individuals, and they didn't get lost once!
Kids had their own bedroom so we could sit and read beyond their bedtime, either in the apartment or on the lovely big balcony.
All staff were lovely, and you did get a personalized service. We are definitely going to go back there. So, I suppose we should thank the Jupiter for allowing us to find somewhere we really liked!

A beautiful hotel that has balconies facing onto the sea and pool!
The room that we had comprised of a lounge/kitchen with balcony along with bathroom and twin bedroom. The kitchen had all the modern appliances that you would need in a small self catering apartment - fridge, toaster, kettle, etc. The rooms are cleaned and beds made on a daily basis with clean towels being provided whenever required.
We found breakfast had a more European feel - croissants, fresh fruit, etc along with a choice of cereals plus the usual eggs and bacon....lots for both the adults and kids to choose from.
Entertainment was provided throughout the day, which was great for keeping the kids (and adults) entertained!! The evenings consisted of the hotel reps (and some of the more daring hotel guests) putting on shows. There is ample shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance (2 mins) from the hotel to suit all tastes.
This is a very family orientated hotel. The entertainment when we were there did not go past 11pm, which is brilliant if you have young children who need to sleep!
The only reason that this hotel has not got a 10/10 is due to the short supply of sun loungers and parasols around the pool, which unfortunately you have to get up early to grab. Although, if you prefer, there is always the beautiful golden sandy beach right on your doorstep. From here you can enjoy an excellent boat trip that is very reasonably priced - perfect for seeing more of the island and having a swim in the clear Mediterranean sea!
This resort is one that we will certainly be returning to in the future!

Ok hotel, the wiev was the best part. Loud entertainment at day/night, don't expect a quiet time at the balcony. Quiet at night though! Food not so good! The restaurant felt more as if you where back in school! Half-baked sausages and so on, no top quality! So don't go halfboard, it was sooo much better food at the street!! Would not go again, cause of the heat! No air-con, and this made us all VERRY tired through out the whole week in the beginning of september.
