Oasis Tropical Apartments

My boy-friend decided i deserved a lovely present, and took me to ´oasistropical', we had lots of laufghs(that, or die whille waiting for our room,7hours).Little Peter(the manager) did all he could for the 70 people waiting, and after that day he went away for holidays(or for suicide). After reading some poor write ups on Oasis Tropical We were a bit concerned. On arriving there was a few hours wait for our room which wasn,t the best of starts and to be truthful when we got a room it wasn't the best of rooms, it could do with a refurb. But after the first few days things settled and we met some very friendly people and had a great fortnight.I would argue that it is not 3 key but it does have a large pool area with lots of extra sun beds Staff were ok except the small super market on site, this needs to be taken over... more

Just retruned from Tropical Oasis-Just me and hubby first holiday together for 19 years having left large children behind. We had a great time at a reasonable price all-inclusive, food was very acceptable especially breakfast. Staff very friendly considering not enough of them and under constant pressure to keep everyone happy so expect a wait for drinks and snacks. Room lovely and clean once we explained we needed some curtains and towels. Do not expect to be close to everything , but that was one of the things we enjoyed most the walk into... more

Just returned from Oasis tropical june 04, the hotel was very quiet but the entertainer little EM ( covering from lanzarote bay) was fantastic with the children and adults.The food was out of this world hot and fresh, but not on a buffet service . The only let down was the room( basic).Met some fantastic friends and hope to keep in touch. Area quiet but free bus to Caleta taxis only 3 euros

stayed all inclusive had a very relaxing holiday staff could not do enough for us and the food was very acceptable even tho not many people in hotel

We paid basic money and we got a basic room. Cooker ring tripped the electrics and on reporting to reception an electrician sorted the electrics but during the whole week the cooker was never sorted. An electric shock was received from bare wires on the lamp in lounge and bulbs hung from wires in bathroom and bedroom. Tiolet cistern was faulty and the toilet was flushed by putting hand in cistern. Beds were squeaky and linen was old,thin and rough. We ended up sleeping on mattress on the floor. As we arrived at the main desk there were two people complaining but we were dealt with promptly by the staff. Our room was adequate but the kitchen sink was blocked. A 'phone call to the desk resulted in two men coming to see to it at once. There was a smell of drains as there is in the tropical countries and this was quickly rectified by a bottle of bleach bought at the shop. I always buy bleach and this is used to sterilse kitchen surfaces and cutlery. We have not been ill so far and have travelled to the Greek Islands, Menorca and U.S.A.... more

Wanted an all-inclusive package as i've had great experiences before with these, so booked last minute through Holiday Index advertised on Teletext. Terrible company, dont book anything through them. Took a day for them to confirm the booking after taking my money. Didn't mention that a transfer was not included either. Just bad. Neuvo horizonte is about a 10 minute drive from the airport, about 30 minutes walk to the nearest beach, although the sea is only 5 minutes away, its not accessible. There are some bad reviews out there for this hotel so we were nervous to say the least. However, we were pleasantly surprized and had the best holiday ever. The people and staff were incredibly friendly, the pool was fab and you didn't have to reserve sunbeds at all and what a refreshing change that makes! The room was okay nothing special but typical although the bath should have been replaced as it was going rusty but despite this I would go back again. The only thing that let the hotel down was the level of entertainment in the evening... more

I really enjoyed my stay at Oasis Tropical there was four of us in total my wife and i and our two children aged 4 & 2, the apartment was clean and the pool was exellent and clean had no complaintents at all
