Just got back from parque golf. the bungalows are clean and spacious although the maids nevesre for came around during our week stay and the towels were rather grubby!!!! The staff were acknowlrdging but not really polite unless you were spanish. Pool bar was help yourself... more

When we arrived and entered the room we were met by coakroaches and throughout the week they kept coming back.My wife was terrified.The maid only came in to clean once and only one towel change in the week. The bathroom and kitchen area were filthy.The food was awful and... more

Was hardly anyone on site considering it was half term holidays here in the UK. No evening entertainment as described maybe because too few people. Food evening meals were cold had to use microwave to warm them up. You need car or taxis are cheap. Overall staff on site... more

The Parque Golf Bungalows/apartments. Me (21) and my girlfriend (20) stayed here last year, we had read all possible reviews on this and i had to admit i was not looking forward to it!! in some reviews it mentioned Ants, no water, horrible staff, mould, and even stealing going on, well i'm here to SET THIS STRAIGHT!!!!!! my partner and i and our baby daughter, who was one at the time had a fantastic time at the parque golf in september last year. having booked elsewhere then been moved at the last minute i was not happy about it, i thought it would be some grotty downgrade. I could not have been more wrong! I have holidayed on the island before (4 times to be exact) and this had to be the best of all. My partner had never been before. Stayed in Parque Golf,Maspolomas 12/9/2005 - 19/9/2005, bungalows are spacious, well equipped and a delight to stay in. Pool is excellent with good pool bar facilities, would highly recommend it, want to go back next year!

I went to Parque Golf (pronounced Parkee Golf) 6th August 2005 for 2 weeks self catering wioth thomas cook. My flights were at 10.45 pm arriving at 3 am, and the return was 4am arriving at 8.05 am. The flights were terrible but the holiday was amazing. The bungalows have a little patio area where you are supplied with a table and 3 chairs. In the bungalow you are greeted with the sofa/ lounge area and to your right(or left) depending what number your your in, is the kitchen. Well were do we begin, first of all we were transfered to this pit 3 weeks before our honeymoon. When we arrived the "q" above the gate was hanging off what a site to greet you!. when we had booked in the cleaners were still in the room, so off to the bar we went. As we were met by vincent the bar waiter we thought not a very happie chappie!, As for the pool the weeds were growing up througth the paving slabs and the dates were rotting on the floor. If you are taking kids please be carful as the pool had at least 160 litres of cleaner poured...

Very Clean and Good Value for Money

My Wife and I visited the Parque Golf Appartments during the first 2 weeks in July 2005. We found the complex quiet and very good value for money. The Bungalows were ideal for 2. The Bungalow was very clean on arrival and cleaned regullary during our visit. Some previous reports had said about hiring Kettles and Toasters, but all Bungalows now have these provided. It was a short walk or a very cheap (3 euros) Taxi ride to quality Food outlets that would suit all tastes and the night life, in fact no matter where we went...

In an island of what appears to be concrete block, wall to wall tourist hotels, Parque Golf was an oasis. The apartments were clean, comfortable and well stocked. The grounds were green, quiet and well maintained. We enjoyed lounging around on the patio or by the pool a great deal. There are quite a lot of cats on the grounds but they were clean and friendly - not troublesome. Our only complaint is that the brochure advertised it was suitable for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children - With a bedroom (twin beds) and 2 "sofa-beds"....

We stayed at Parque Golf for the first time in March 2004 and enjoyed it so we much we came home and booked straight away for April 2005. This was our sixth visit to the island and this was by far the best accomodation we have stayed in. Taxi's are very cheap and despite being a fare way from the beach the walk was enjoyable and did us good. We were lucky enough on our last visit to see the Carnival which was amazing not to mention the clean up operation that followed. Food wise we would recommend "The Britannia" restaurant in the Gran...

Beware the cockroaches...

My husband and 1 and our 16 month old baby were booked into Parque Golf for 2 weeks and left after the first week. We were visited by several cockroaches and to top it off there were stray cats everywhere which meant there was cats toilet everywhere too (even in the childs play area) so it was difficult for our baby to play anywhere safe. When we found a cockroach in the baby pool, we decided to leave and stay our last week somewhere else. Nov 2004, have just come back and had great time . Was pleased with the appartments. Clean but basic, maid service every other day. Good sized pool , together with two smaller ones. Pool bar in need of renovation but food very good. Only thing was for most of lunchtimes , only 1 member of staff on serving and cooking , so had to wait a while !! Apart from that nice resort , but need to take your walking shoes, dunes miles away !!! taxis dirt cheap, so wasn't problem.
