What a city! So much to see and do, the cathedral is a must, and the views are fantastic... though the graffiti people have left there does leave a slightly bitter view.
The nightlife isn't exactly great, but there are enough bars to satisfy your needs if you want a few decent drinks. Your German isn't that good? Most people speak English well enough, it's no big problem.
The hotel? Friendly staff, good food, pretty comfortable in general actually, no complaints there.
Venturing out of the city isn't too bad either, there's plenty to see, as with anywhere in Germany. Only problem I had was the public transport in the city; compared to other German cities, it's nothing to write home about.
