Stavros Villa Studios & Apartments

We have recently come back from a week at Stavros Studios and can highly recommend the place. The location is beautiful with large pool, taverna and beach. The accomodation is basic but has everything you would need as long as you are not expecting 5 star rooms. The studios that sleep up to three are large enough and the bathroom has toilet, sink and open shower, we had no problems with the electrics or water. The owners and family were always helpful and very helpful with suggestions.
The only slightly neagtive thing about the room is whilst there is a large wardrobe with plenty of clothes hangers, there is only drawer space in the two bedside tables, but plenty of table space and also the long sofa that you can use as well.
Even with the majority of the accomodation in use we would often be the only people by the pool and it never felt crowded. The food at the taverna on site is brilliant and there are plenty of other tavernas in walking distance and if you haven't hired a car then a regular bus service into the next town of Plantanias and Chania, only a short journey away.
The surrounding countryside is amazing, stunning scenery and there is always a gentle sea breeze to cool you down.
We would highly recommend this place and was very good value for money. We will definatley be back again for more peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings.
