We had our 1 year old with us, a cot was supplied, and the room was nice and big, so wasn't cluttered with the extra cot. The restaurant was expensive but the food was delicious and really well presented. It was so worth our while spending the extra 50 or so Euro a night to stay there, instead of a 3 star central hotel. When our baby went to bed, we were able to sit out comfortably in the lounge area, and have a quiet drink.
I would stay there again. But I must say about Cologne; not sure what the attraction is? Must be the huge number of Bars! 2 days was more than enough in the city. Did enjoy the Dom Kolsch though!
