" We spent 5 glorious days exploring... "

We spent 5 glorious days exploring Venice. The hotel is close to the Rialto Bridge, and is close to all the main attractions. Breakfast was a cold buffet, not a very extensive choice, but certainly plenty of food. All the staff we spoke to spoke English, and were extremely friendly. The hotel even has an offer of a free water taxi to a visit a glass factory on Murano. Obviously, the return journey is made at ones own expense. We opted to travel back by water bus. These are spacious, but have very noisy engines! Our guide book warned us that everyone gets lost in Venice, and it's certainly true in our case, despite having a very good map.

We'd certainly use the hotel again, if we ever decide to return to Venice. The trouble is there's too many other places we'd like to see.
