Whilst this position provided plenty of interest it was also somewhat noisy and as the room had no air conditioning the windows needed to be kept open. Apparently portable fans are available but this was not made clear until our departure.
The buffet breakfast was excellent with an extensive selection and very good service.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located right on the Market place which has a range of stalls every day of the week.
The Market place is central to a series of pedestrian shopping streets, and within easy walking distance to the main railway station, the river Rhein, Beethhoven's birthplace, many museums, restaurants and bars.
