The Rialto Hotel is next to the famous Rialto Bridge and enjoys a superb view over the Grand Canal and is only a few minutes walk from St. Mark's Square. The Rialto Hotel has 79 rooms, 28 of which overlook the Grand Canal. The refurbished hotel boasts a terrace restaurant and bar overlooking the Grand Canal.

Wow, took my husband for his 40th!! What a romantic city.
Best way to view it is to 'drink' in the atmosphere and stay in Venice itself, this is the best way to see the sights and experience the amazing nighttimes atmosphere when all the day tourists go back to resorts out of Venice.
The rialto, situated beside the rialto bridge was a very friendly, clean hotel with period decor, air con which is a must at this time of year, and another must is a room overlooking the canal and can be booked for a small extra fee but well worth it as we felt like royalty overseeing our small principality!!
Best thing I can say is Venice is a must and is a holiday that is not too be missed at least once in your lifetime, a rare treat that you will remember forever!!!
