The hotel had an excellent location which was perfect for exploring Milan and it is close to the Duomo Cathedral. The rooms were slightly old fashioned but nice and clean with everything that we needed. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection. On the roof top is a bar which overlooks Milan - very nice but expensive at 12 euros for 1 cocktail. The staff were extremely helpful and were glad to assist us in finding/booking a suitable restaurant for the evening. Overall I would recommend the hotel, particularly for location.
However, if visiting Milan I would warn you that August is a very quiet time when the Milanese people often leave on their holidays and therefore many shops/restaurants are closed.
