Rosen Plaza Hotel

What can I say. We arrived at the hotel 18th December 2003. Our first impression was superb ! The staff were wonderful and helpful. The room was fantastic. Clean and bright. It also contained it's own safe. The maid service was brilliant. Every day including Christmas day. We had a wonderful buffet on Christmas day. Could not move when we had finished. Superb! My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in June 2004 as part of a tour of Florida with Travelsphere from the UK. We were very impressed with our room and the hotel as a whole. our room was clean and well equiped, we found all the staff helpfull and well informed. We stayed at 2 other hotels on our trip that fell well short of the rozen Plaza. we are now planning a return trup to Orlando and we intend to stay at the Rozen again. Excellent!

my husband and i along with our 3 daughters got stuck at the rosen for a national meeting as we were late in registering we lost out on the ritz and the peabody and got stuck at the rosen. my hopes were dashed upon arrival. the valets were gracious and helpful....the registration staff. cool but ok, the room..........it went downhill from there.........we were on the 12th floor. the place was a mob scene. the room had DIRTY linens i don't think the bed spread had ever been washed. the blankets were gross, the pillows ROCKS, the toilet didn't... more

My wife and I came here for a couple of nights, April 2-3 2004 and loved it. We got the rooms from hotwire $72 a night, what a deal. The location is excellent, close to all attractions. Food and shops all within a ten minute walk. You don,t have to eat at the rip off hotel prices just take a small walk. The pool was so nice, it was always warm and open till 12MN. Stayed in Nov 2003, hotel was clean and staff friendly. Room was well decorated, and kept clean by the maids. Had a pool view as requested and view was good. Pool was always warm and plenty of space to swim. Hotel was in a good location, opposite Pointe Orlando, although the traffic always heavy after 4pm, due to convention centre close by. My family and I stayed at the Rosen Plaza in June 2003. I accept some of the comments i have read here but have to say we found the hotel excellent. Yes the rooms need a refurb, but when we stayed all floors from 11 up had already been done so if you stay ask for a room on these floors. Our room whilst begining to look tired was more than adequate, only the bathroom let it down. This hotel is BIG! We stayed at the Rosen Plaza In June for a TSA convention--we had booked late and got stuck in the plaza instead of the Centre...The exterior is beautiful..the rooms were okay...cleanness was okay...no blood or insects..the only problem..while we were visiting...they decided to remodel i guess? while first entering our rooms there were about 25 maintence people on our hall and they were putting in new lamps. We stayed here for two nights March 1 & 2 and found the hotel personnel who greeted us extremely friendly, the desk clerk, etc. and the housekeeper were all excellent. The room was bright, nice furnishings and overall an excellent value. We ate at Jack's Place in the hotel and the service and food were very good.

After reading some of the reviews of this hotel, I was very skeptical about spending five nights there while my husband attended a convention. But I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised! The rooms were clean, bright and tastefully decorated. The pool area was wonderful and I loved the waterfall hot tub. In addition, the equipment in the exercise room looks like it was brand new and very high quality. I loved our stay at the Rosen Plaza. I stayed there last March for spring break. I am a college student so I was hesitant to spend my spring break there. However, I was more than pleased, and I am planning a trip back for the future.
