This was not my first visit to this hotel. It is situated in the Charlottenurg area of Berlin, just off the Kurfurstendam.
It has easy links for the S Bahn (500m) and the U Bahn (outside the hotel). It is also on the main bus route from Tegel Airport, about 15 minutes.
This is a great hotel with very goo 3 star accommodations but also very reasonable rates, approx. 50 Euros per night.
There is a bar downstairs and a restaurant but this only seems to cater for hotel breakfasts. The rooms are of a high standard and are well maintained.
Across the square are several bars and restaurants that offer very good meals at very reasonable prices. It a great location for all the tourist attractions but also offers a quiet area away from the noise of the centre. Just up the road are Schloss Charlottenburg and the Egyptian museum.
The Zoo Station, zoo and Tiergarten are with 2 stops of the hotel.
I'd recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good place to stay.
