NH Berlin Alexanderplatz Hotel

Just got back from a city break in Berlin at the Alexanderplatz. I would recommend it greatly for anyone wishing to combine culture, entertainment and sport.
Firstly the hotel is good quality, very clean, helpful friendly staff who all spoke English. The room does have glass opaque showers with only one door for both shower and toilet, so if traveling with mates you need to be aware and happy with this.
Transfer from tegal airport was 25 euros and check in at 2pm. Satellite telly was available including premiership football live on pay per view (all be it in German). The bar was very stylish and comfortable, as was the restaurant.
One of the best things about the hotel was the transport links being next to a s-bann station, tram stops and major bus centre. But the best thing was the views the TV tower looked amazing as did Berlin from your high view most rooms were above the 26th floor.
The city is full of culture from the Brandenburg gate to checkpoint Charlie, museums all over the place.
I also visited the Munich Olympic stadium for a match, (tickets available from any info centre e.g. at Brandenburg gate). This was amazing and my number one tip an experience not to be missed check internet prior to travel to make sure dates as the match I went to see was moved to Friday night for TV).
Food not for vegetarians I am afraid. Pubs/clubs also a bit of a problem when you find them atmosphere is great but go in and out of fashion and close very quickly so ask around when you get there.
