We actually stayed in other apartments with pool use of the Hotel Cap De Mar and I have NEVER been in such an unfriendly place in my entire life!
If you go down to the pool you really will struggle to find another British family as it was full to the brim with Germans and there wasn’t a single sunbed left un-towelled!
We stuck it out for 3 days before asking our rep if we could use a pool elsewhere as the atmosphere was decidedly chilly!
Unless you don’t mind being surrounded by Germans I would really give it the widest berth possible!

There was nothing of what the brochure promised. No health centre, no indoor swimming pool, no sauna, no fitness, no grill room, no pizzeria, no tennis court. The same band repeating the same show every night. No entertainment for kids. Desk personnel could not speak English, only Spanish.
It absolutely NO 4 star hotel. Swimming pool was filled extra for 5 days and therefore ice cold. Floor around swimming pool was painted on our arrival and became very slippery. Every one landed on the brick floor. Warned owner about it but nothing happened.
The beach was covered with tons of bad smelling dead sea plants (height 1 meter) during own complete holiday.
Thomas Cook thinks this is reasonable for a holiday in May.
