We have just got back from the Atlantis hotel Belek it was the best holiday we have ever had. First time we have gone all inclusive and I would recommed it to anyone. The food was excellant something different all the time ( no meatballs )very very clean. There was drinks in the fridge everyday clean bedding and towels. You could not falt it.The only thing that i would complain about was that the Hotel was a little remote and Belek was only a small village so if you wanted to get there was no where to walk to.Very good if you have children they can get drinks and icecreams all day and they had kids clubs with different things happening all though the day.

Well what can you say about this hotel. When you pay just over 200 pounds each for a week AI you can't complain.
Start with the star rating. 5X English, Spanish or American it is not. 5X Turkish it is and it is the best Turkish hotel I have been in and I have been going to turkey for 10 years.
Food. Good points Lots of it any time you like. Lots of variety. You won't get a English breakfast but this is not unusual in a Turkish hotel.and this is a true international hotel. Bad points Yes there is lots of variety but mostly the same food every day. So if you can't find anything you like on the first day, you won't on any other day. But my partner is a very very fussy eater and she was OK. Real bad point lots of complaints that the food was not hot. They have a problem keeping the food hot. But this is a long standing problem and a lot of the other hotels had the same problem.
Rooms. I can only comment on our room. Fantastic, Sea view, fourth floor, big. Every body I talked to had no problem with the room.
Entertainment. Animation team. Yes they try hard but they are rubbish. many people just walked out of the one hours entertainment at night and at night that was it. One hour. On two nights we had entertainers from out side the hotel. They were good. From about 10 to 12pm we had a man on a guitar in the main lounge/bar on about three nights. He played the same Spanish type music every time and I'm sure he was dead. On two nights we had a girl vocalist and a man on a key board. Not to bad and we got up and danced. On the second night lots of people got up and danced. But again the same song or music went on and on. Disco Yes 11 till 2am Fine if you are 16 to ? Never more than 20 people in the room never more than 10 on the floor. Time after time we asked if they would play non disco head banging music. So bring your own entertainment with you.
Location. Lots of hotels along the beach but you can't go in any of them. Not even to have a look. no walks to take at night, no bars to sit in. Belek town is all shops, it is inland and about 40mins from the hotel. No mate you are stuck in your hotel all night.
Staff. Great The only problem we saw was the main bar staff got a bit upset just before midnight when free drinks were about to stop. but what can you expect when you have one man on the bar trying to serve 250 people.
Smoking. Well we are non smokers. Yes we all have rights and Turkey is a smokers country. The hotel has got non smoking areas and the main restaurant is non smoking. But all other public areas are smoking. It is like England used to be and if you are a non smoker you will notice. But the hotel try hard to please all.
Conclusion. Go for it. Its a great hotel. You will have a good time. In the summer it could all be different I don't know. Read the reports take a middle of the line view and you will be fine.

I travelled to the Atlantis hotel for a week’s all inclusive holiday with my 3 girls aged 15, 13 & 8.
I was very apprehensive about staying at the Atlantis due to the numerous reviews I had read but desperately needed a holiday and decided the price I was paying for the holiday outweighed the mixed reviews. I paid £1100, which, compared to other 5* hotels in Turkey was very cheap. We booked with Flexible trips, part of First Choice and ended up paying @ £200 less for the same holiday on the First Choice website.
This was the first holiday we have taken without my husband and I was apprehensive about travelling to Turkey on my own with my 3 daughters, I was warned about the Turkish men hassling women. We experienced it once on the beach, ignored them and had no more problems.
We arrived in the middle of the afternoon and after checking in, were escorted to our room. Our room was quite spacious and very clean, the decor was a little tired.
Food is constantly on offer and as I had read from other people's reviews, is not quite what you would expect from a 5* hotel, but I felt it was all fresh and there was a wide variety. The mini bar in the room was stocked daily and the drinks were included in the all inclusive option (soft drinks of course!!)
The sandy beach is at the end of the Atlantis gardens and is a lovely. Volleyball and other activities are offered including sailing, windsurfing, banana boat rides, paragliding (all at an extra cost)
Belek centre is a 40minute walk or a bus/tractor ride from outside the Atlantis gates at a cost of 75cents. The market, held on a Saturday is excellent for all your fake designer wear, but be prepared to haggle & walk away if needed, they will usually come down to your price, within reason!
I would return to the Atlantis, if the price was right again as I felt personally we had great value for money, and a lovely suntan as well!

This hotel was a very average 5*, the facilities in the indoor pool area i.e. sauna steam room etc where excellent and I would recommend this hotel for a holiday although I personally would not return - it did not have the WOW factor.
The food in the main buffet area was just average, definitely not 5*quality however the Italian and Turkish restaurants where fantastic.
The entertainment was not great however it was not through the lack of trying to please guests by the entertainment team - they did try hard but it was just poor I’m afraid to say.
My main negative about this hotel was the service, it was extremely poor I certainly did not feel the staff where there to help and unless you are constantly tipping expect nothing short of terrible rude service and this is also including management who did not smile, make you feel welcome or want to help!!!
Guest relations who are meant to help take on board any constructive tips where arrogant, rude, and really not trained to deal with customers who had any problems.
The pictures in the brochure are very impressive however although it wasn’t really bad its worth pointing out that the interior is not as spectacular as it photographs in the brochure.
The beach is stunning and there is lots of space in the gardens around the complex.
A 40 minute walk will take you to the centre of Belek which is great for shopping.
All in All a good value for money break but be warned this is a hotel that won’t leave any lasting good impressions and this is purely down to the management and staff who I felt do not want to cater or help the British. If it’s cheap go for it - you won’t be let down but be warned do not spend over the odds for this hotel.

Worst hotel we have ever stayed in, if you like cheep food like meatballs this is the one for you.
By no means a 5 star hotel, looks good but a total sham for the top price paid.
Russians were rood never waited at the bars and as for all inclusive you have to pay for an upgrade to ultra all inclusive to get any drinks at the bars or to get served with any respect.
All Brits at this hotel were complaining about the poor quality of food and service, carpet fitting at 22.30 at night, lots of slipping accidents around the place with no facility to report the accident, don’t rely on the British reps, they were just incompetent at any sort of job other than just trying to sell trips that you will find well over charged.
Staff were generally friendly although trying as they serve the Russians always first, we have travelled with our children all over the world and found this to have been the worst 5 star hotel we have ever stayed at,. Food at lesser star hotels around the resort were offering better value for money, this is one hotel to stay away from, I have never seen so many complaints go in about one hotel ever.
Entertainment was diabolical with a kids club that was great if you spoke German or Dutch!
A la carte meals if you managed to book one was as inviting as a cold Chinese the night after, unappetising and not worth the queue for the booking. 3 out of 4 of our party either had an accident or ended up ill.

This was a fab holiday. Hotel and surrounding pools, bars, sitting areas, everything was absolutely spotless.
The kids had a ball at the pool with 3 of the slides and the snack bar, selling burgers, pizza, chips, spaghetti and salad, was right next to it.
The entertainment team were all fab and they put 100% into all their shows, but because there were so many nationalities at this hotel, mainly Russian, German and Turkish, some of the shows were not up to scratch as they had to cater for all senses of humour.
The food was smashing and always well cooked, and there was plenty of choice. The waiter service at dinner was a nice touch, as was the carpet in our room.
Great holiday and would consider going again for the right price.

We stayed there for our honeymoon and on the whole would definitely go back.
Our rep was Yan who was very helpful. The room was massive and pretty good although we did have to move rooms towards end of holiday, as storms damaged one of the windows. Unfortunately the room they put us in seemed to have water leaking in the wardrobe!!
Food was ok but got bored with it by end of 2 week stay (too many meatballs!) and complex is isolated so little opportunity to eat elsewhere.
Shops on complex expensive, beauty salon was very good (foot massage wonderful!), and hotel is right on beach so perfect for sun worshippers.
Some of the staff were very helpful but other rather snide in their attitude. Mainly German and Russian clients staying there, they don't understand the tradition of queuing!
I would recommend this hotel to other people, but you should hire transport if you want more than just 2 weeks of sunbathing.

This hotel is definitely not a 5star hotel as far as accommodation and food go. I know you can't compare with UK standards but having stayed in Turkey before we still don't rate this hotel as 4 or 5 star. The hotel was Ok, pools were immaculate and surrounding areas kept clean and tidy. Staff were helpful. On arrival we had booked a four bedded room even though there were only two adults, and expected to get 2 queen size beds. We were shown to a fifth floor twin bedded room which we did not accept as we do not like being situated above the second floor.
We were shown the same accommodation on a lower floor which we again refused. We waited to see the Thomas Cook rep who got us moved into a four bedded room. The rep was ok but as usual more interested in selling the trips. The main complaint was the food. It was always cold and we did complain to the hotel twice during our week's stay. The food was very limited, how many ways can you disguise meatballs!! There were two conventions whilst we were there for the week so I don't know if the food was a cost cutting measure to make money from the conventions.
Another thing on the flight back, we were speaking to a lady in the next seat who said that her and her party of 4 adults had not paid for in flight meals and therefore had not expected to get them and we had paid £20 extra for our meals. Won't do that again.
All in all disappointed with our holiday this year and I have read reviews about this hotel and the Germans and other nationalities were not a problem.

Very nice all inclusive hotel right on the beach in Belek
First the negatives:-
Traveled with Thomas Cook and all the flights come and go into Antalya on a night time, we got to our room at 03.00, and with 2 daughters aged 10 & 13, tired and winging, not much fun, same for outward journey as well(late checkout room a must). The town of Belek not as good as Kusadasi the year before, not as many shops and more expensive (use euros not lira).
However, this does not affect the hotel which we thought was great, my daughters would definitely go back, which is a great compliment. The hotel has several bars and restaurants, all of which we found offered good quality and choice. Four pools to choose from, you could always find one that was not busy, and 4 waterslides, which keep the kids amused. Also during the day, you could always find one of the bars was quiet if you wanted to have a drink and chill out.
Food: breakfast was usual fare, but with pancakes or omlettes always being offered, lunch, could be full buffet, or snacks, and had one that offered pizza/pasta/burgers and chips, great for the kids. Evenings - full buffet with a good choice or 5 a la cartes, we tried 2 and both were very nice, you could use at least 1 visit to each during your stay, and more if space allowed. The drinks offered were all local but okay for the most part, you could have branded but these were extra, and you had mini bars in the rooms with, Pepsi, fruit juice and water, refilled daily.
Rooms: the one we had was okay, a little cramped for four of us, but was comfortable with mini bar, telly and a good shower.
The entertainment staff were great, especially "Nemo" and were always friendly and encouraging people to have a good time, daytime was the usual activities, and the night time shows were standard as well, not fantastic but still enjoyable enough.
All the staff were friendly and gave good service, and the maids would make towels, etc into animals and other assorted shapes which was nice.
Trips: to go into the town don't bother with the taxis, they ran a tractor pulling a long seated trailer which ran round all the hotels and was pence, although was very busy on market day (Saturday), the excursions we booked through Thomas Cook, the jolly roger was okay, me and my youngest enjoyed it, my partner and eldest were seasick, but with a kids rep and a photographer who took some superb pictures it was okay.
The aqua park in Antalya - the dolphin show was good (although there are always a lot of people wanting to swim with them, so big queue and not much time), but the water park itself is not big enough for the amount of people they squeeze in there - literally(long queues for your included dinner).
The beach was good and offered a good variety of water sports, which you could haggle on the price.
The hotel was mainly Russians (who were a mixture of fun and rude), and then Brits, Germans and Dutch.
Could not fault the hotel, but the fact that it’s a bit isolated and the night flights stop it getting a 10, but we would go back!

we were aprehensive about this booking because of the reviews posted last year. but thankfully it was just scare mongering. we went as a family with twins aged 4 and enjoyed every minute of it. the staffwere so so helpful, rooms clean and spacious and lots of food and drinks on offer throughout the day. some thing for everyone. would definately recommend again and the tour rep tracy was brilliant. she arranged outings and made our stay extremly enjoyable. She even rang us at the airport to say goodbye as it was her day off. would definitely go back again.
