I have just returned from a week at this Hotel and could not fault it in any way. The Hotel was spotless, staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was lovely. Maid service every day and the location could not get any better. If your going to stay here you will enjoy it and want to go back to the same hotel.

I booked this holiday for a week for me an my partener it was great value for money! The staff are really helpful helping us with our suitcases as we got there early hours in the morning! wen we arrived i asked if we could have a pool view an had no problems he gave us a pool view no extra charge we had to pay for the aircondioting i suggest you have this as its really hot you can also hire a safe aswell. we didnt no how to work the fridge so we had a man come up straight away to help us,i was really suprised at the hotel it... more

We booked this as a cheap last minute holiday and decided to go despite the mixed reviews because of the good location. However, it was actually a really great hotel. It was clean & tidy, the cleaners did a great job everyday, and we even took pics of some of the bed artwork that they did on the bed with towels, flowers and even real rose petals. Very pretty. We stayed in this hotel from 8th-15th may and as 3* hotel go it was not to bad. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel right on the main road which was ok as when you had your balcony door closed you could only hear little bit of noise. The main noise came from other guests slamming doors all night long, and not just the younger generation the older generation was just as bad if not worse, shouting in corridors ect ect. Room was cleaned daily, reception staff was not to great, bought a bottle of juice and a bottle of water from the shop... more
no rooftop bar only a load of rubbish from jw08
Went here in july thought we droped on a great hotel was we wrong no rooftop bar which were really looking forward to and there has not been one for three years no hot water two daughters put at the end of the crridor even though we asked for them to be put next door the staff ringing the room phone in the middle of the night asking was my husband in all in all it wasnt what we were shown by thomas cook but dont worry we will be going back to marmaris but not this hotel very sorry as the bar staff were really good

We stayed at Selen Hotel from 26th July to 9th August and I can honestly say we had a fantastic holiday. We were bed and breakfast and we had no complaints, typical Turkish breakfast, but if this did become a bit boring there is always Charlies place right across the road that do an excellent full english breakfast. We had a room overlooking the front of the hotel, the pool and the main road. The road was a bit noisy at times but once the doors were closed you could not hear a thing. We found the Hotel Selen to be a good hotel, the staff were always very nice and polite although we did get to a stage where we made a dash for it at night so that we were not getting pressured to eat in the restaurant. we were bed and breakfast but did eat in the restaurant twice which certainly had no complaints about, the food was excellent. only had breakfast on the morning we were leaving as never organised enough the other mornings!!! breakfast was fine, fresh omelette were good and bread was nice and soft. defo needed air... more

My husband and I stayed at the Selen with our daughters (16 & 19) from 1st to 15th August 2008. We couldn't have picked a better hotel or location for our first trip to Turkey. Our rooms were clean and adequate. Our views were of the bay and although there were other buildings close by it didn't spoil the magnificent views. My partner and I booked a week in this hotel between 24th June-2st July 2008. As soon as we checked in we were extremely disappointed. The outside of the hotel and rooms looked notrhing like the images on the hotel's website or in photos in hotel brochure. I was led to beleive that the hotel is overlooking the sea but the image on the website is very misleading-there was another hotel in between.
