I loved this little hotel. Staff were friendly. Rooms are amazingly small but somehow everything seems to fit. Clever compartments allow you to store things away. I liked the ipod alarm clock, great for listening to music while you got ready.
My concern before hand was the shared showers but there was one right next to my room so was close as a bathroom would have been anyway and it was usually free.
Location is perfect. Only 10 minutes max walk away from 5th Ave, and with a Subway right round the corner its perfect for exploring New York.
Would love to go back some time in the future.

Booked as part of a cheap break to USA. Only a 2 Star, I booked a POD room, which has access to shared bathroom areas, but clean and quiet. The staff were friendly. Couldn't ask for much more for the money.
Fantastic location, easy to walk to all the popular tourist area's.

WOW! Central Manhattan location and not expensive. Get a queen or double room with private bath. This hotel is located between 2nd and 3rd aves on E51st st. lovely hotel for NY City holiday.
Some Construction work going on while we were there but there’s just so much to do and see in the city that you’re only resting your head at night.
Bathrooms real cosmo and compact. Plasma TV on wall and internet access in rooms.
Loads of nice restaurants in vicinity of hotel but shopping in city is so spread out because NYC is HUGE! Definitely loved it though and going back this Xmas!
Don’t leave NY without going to Woodbury Commons in New Jersey; it’s about 1 hr from NY on train from Penn Station. Brilliant Outlets, you'd need 2 days in it though.

Me and my sister had a fabulous time in New York and
really enjoyed our stay at the pod hotel
It was clean and very easy to get to tourist interest places
top tip though - we gave ourselves 3 hours
to travel back to Newark airport by air shuttle bus and thought that would be fine - (we nearly missed our flights) set off 5 hours before in order
to pick up other passengers and get through the traffic
excellent hotel though would recommend to anyone and will stay there again if we return to new york
