Napoleon Paris Hotel

We have just come back from a weekend in the Hotel Napoleon and we had a great time. The Hotel is in a perfect location and we found the staff to be very friendly and the rooms spotlessly clean. Breakfast is expensive at 22 euros but well worth it. We booked quite late and the only rooms available were Classic rooms, which are quite small. Although small the rooms still had everything we needed, including a safe, books and guides on Paris and a rubber duck for the bath! We would definitely go back and stay there again. We stayed at the Hotel Napoleon for a week and loved it. The location is perfect. It's less than a block to the Arc, the Champs Elysees, and the metro. The service was good and the restaurant recommendations we got from the concierge were excellent. We decided to book one of the larger rooms that includes a little sitting area, and we had plenty of room. I hope to return to Paris soon, and would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed here in April for a special occasion and I really regret choosing here. I splashed out on a superior room which looked nothing like the pictures on their website. Their courtyard is grubby and it certainly doesn't make for a nice view. The hotel staff where cold and rude and they made no effort to make us feel welcome. They did'nt even say hello when you entered or left the hotel. The interior upstairs is old and tatty and the premises is surprisingly very small. Three phrases describe our experience at this hotel: Great hotel; great location; great transfer from airport. From the start of our adventure to wonderful Paris it was (I will use the same word) great. Once we disembarked from the plane, we took the public Air France shuttle bus, located at exit 2A, to the Arc de Triomphe stop. Only a 35 minute ride. It was my first time in Paris and I went with my sister in law and two teenage daughters 12 and 14. We had a fantastic time. Hotel Napoleon was first of all in the perfect location. We were able to either walk or take the Metro everywhere. The rooms were large and clean and we had a huge balcony with connecting rooms. The concierges were extremely helpful and took the time to give us advice with everything. We stayed at the Hotel Napoleon for two nights during Spring Break in the first week of April. Our family of four very much enjoyed the experience. We booked our rooms through Expedia, and had been looking for a nice, centrally located and decently priced room that could accommodate a family of four. I have only good things to say about our experience at the Hotel Napoleon. My partner and I stayed for seven nights and found the facility to be clean, convenient and professional. The hotel is very well situated near the Arc de Triomphe Metro stop, which provides immediate access to virtually the entire city. I booked through expedia (hotel and airfare) from London, for four days at around $850. So unfortunately I'm not too sure of the exact room rate, but we chose the standard basic room. We were on the first floor above the lobby and faced the courtyard. The room was TINY, TINY, TINY. BUT! The bathroom was a good size. The room was very hot and we were trying to figure out how to make it colder, but then we realized that the french doors on the side of the room open and let in cool air! We stayed at the Hotel Napoleon for a week in mid-March and had a wonderful experience. The room was large, the location superb, and the service impeccable. Our luggage did not arrive for the first three days of our trip and the hotel staff generously contacted the airline by phone and e-mail throughout the day so we could sightsee. The marble bathroom was marvelous and the bed was enormous. We looked forward to the delicious chocolates on the bed after turn-down service every evening. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at the Hotel Napoleon from 16 to 19 March - fantastic location, staff extremely pleasant and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. As one previous reviewer stated rooms were cleaned as if by magic and beds turned down each evening - highly recommended - would definately stay at this hotel next time I visit Paris.
