Bellevue Lagomonte

i had a great holiday. met some great people who i am still in touch with! the food was great and the activities for young children was great. i think more play areas for children are needed but overall a great holiday. thanks for a lovely time gemma, 15, essex

i think that the food was great but my only comment is that the entertainment could be betta and that there is more of a choice for the teens to do during the day

great hotel except for far too many kids, running around without parental control. many kids were really banging on game machines in the hotel. it was awful to see as the hotel itself is so lovely, clean & friendly. i felt the parents could'nt care less what the kids got up too as long as they were drinking as much as they could (getting every little drop of the all inclusive) which is fine, but you still have to control kids. i would definately go back to the hotel again, but perhaps when there wont be so many children. food was out of this world, a good selection every day. loved alcudia town & market. would be ideal for a family with children.

2 adults 2 kids great holiday, not enough storage in rooms for wife, food okay you will not starve. staff great{jesus} entainers chris neeley vannessa {can have the world on her shoulders} first class. must be good got on stage dressed as women, thanks to all for a family holiday 27/8to10/9 thanks to allfriends met there. this is our 2nd time at this hotel group /hotetur take a bow and be proud

We stayed at the Hotel Lagomonte from 28 Aug - 4 Sept 2004 and would rated everything about the hotel as first class. The food, entertainment, drinks and facilities were all excellent. Having read a lot of reviews about the hotel, the vast majority are great but those with complaints would probabaly find fault wih any holiday, no matter where they were. The all-inclusive option we found superb. The food was always fresh and hot and the variety was excellent. The staff were friendly and polite. Much better than other hotels we have stayed in. The rooms were clean and comfortable and serviced well. The Entertainment Team worked hard day and night to provide activites to suit everyone. They all deserve a gold medal. We will definately be visiting the Lagomonte again.

We returned from our holiday yesterday and wish we were still there. The room, big enough for our booking of 2, was kept spotless (by the cleaners,not us!) with the expected fresh towels everyday. The rest of the hotel was kept clean and tidy with constent cleaning throughout the day. The staff belonging to the hotel were all very helpful and most spoke very good english and understood our bus timetable problems and managed to explain and help us out, they were always willing to help and knew more than the reps did!!! The food was brilliant, a brilliant variety everyday and a few kept the same i.e. chips,salad etc for anybody who couldn't find something,which even though being fussy myself was virtually impossible! it was great quality. The bar staff were brilliant - very amusing! they chatted to us all our 2 weeks and made our stay very enjoyable - they had to put up with our "not too strong" requests and asking for 2 glasses at night and 2 glasses with ice in - 2 for water and 2 for orange juice from the machine before going to bed!!! We even held up an entire queue to get a photo of us with them on the final night!! Anyone reading this who was in the queue fri 10th sep- sorry!!!!!! The smell of the lake that people complained about was only as you walked around one corner it lasted all of 30 seconds - not enough to put us off going again after the holiday we had! The pool at the hotel was lovely, as was the pool across the lake in the pool bar were you could get salad, meat (e.g.turkey&ham),chips,burgers everyday from 10am-6pm and soft drinks and alcoholic. Again the seated area outside and inside were always clean. The hotel was near a fantastic street for shopping for gifts - we spent hours and hours there! It also wasn't a far walk from the beach but there was a free bus every halfhour from right outside the hotel or a taxi for around 4,50 euros to the port. We went on several excursions which i would recommend - son amar - fantastic night of entertainment including 3 course lovely meal a bottle of wine each a bottle of soft pop if requested. We thoroughly enjoyed going on a catamaran boat, submarine vision, golf fantasia was a fantastic day - 54 hole course in beautiful surroundings (3 18-hole courses but pick up the ball before you hit it into the last hole and go onto the next course!) followed by a trip to a western waterpark fantastic fun for adults kids and teenagers alike! The only reason i can fault this hotel was that the entertainment was good but could have been better - e.g. say on decades night they would mime the songs from each year which i found a let down, they also mimed alot of "grease". On saying that though, the show like "transvestite 2004" was hysterical and they did really well! That is the only reason i couldn't give it all 5 stars - and even saying that we plan to go back to alcudia next year and most probably to the same hotel too!!! But the day entertainment was a different story - adult activities whilst kids activities were on so you can be on your own and they were activities you didn't feel stupid joining in with and were highly attended, some included skittles, killer pool, darts, water polo and basketball etc. Great fun, and the entertainers were fantastic with kids and adults alike and wouldn't hesitate to take charge of kids if they were a nuisance which was a rarity. Recommended for anyone to be fair, only not for the people who don't want to see a single child all holiday which i think is impossible anyway!!! Great holiday. P.S anyone looking to rent a jet ski they are in palma nova!!!!!!!!!

I should qualify what I am about to write by saying that this was SO NOT the type of holiday I would have wanted BK (before kids) so anyone wanting a romantic couples holiday should probably not go. We travelled for 2 weeks in August 2004 with our boys aged 6 and 3. Many of the comments already posted regarding the pool size and race for the sunbeds are true, but we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The complex is small enough to keep an eye on the kids, the daytime entertainment for them was very good and the evening shows were enjoyable for all. We did take some trips out - Pirates Night was especially good - and I feel that many of the negative comments came from people who felt that they ought to spend every waking moment at the hotel because the food and drink were "free". The food was varied and tasty, evne with a fussy eater in tow. Watch out for the strong spirits - best to ask for a small one! The rooms, although on the small side for a family of 4, were scrupulously clean, as were all public areas. The entertainment team worked extremely hard and put in a lot of hours. I would definitely return.

as far as im concerened anyone on this site who wants to rubbish the hotel lagomonte are as far as im concerened nutters. ive just come back from 2 weeks there and it was the best holiday ive ever had. everyday had a different activitie unlike most hotels and as i joined in nearly everything i got to know the entertainers quite well. The entertainers: Matt- i thought matt was fantastic with the kids club the adult games and also he was very comical in the shows. i thought matt was one of the best entertainers i have ever met he was really friendly towards everyone and he was always lively. he always had a smile on his face and always said good morning and good night. he always m,ade him self busy. Chris- chris was also really good. all the kids loved him and he was really laid back which made it a really relaxed atmosphere. him and matt just seemed to bounce of each other although matt was the funny one, chris was just as funny. Neeley- neeley was extremely friendly and would go right out of her way to help you. she was excellent with the kids and really knew how to make them enjoy themselves. she was also a very well known character around the hotel. vanessa- what can i say about vanessa?? she was quite friendly but seemed abit fake!! and im afraid it seemed as if, if she was having a bad day she wanted evrybody to. but still all the kids liked her equally did most of the adults i spoke to. so to sum up i would recommend the hotel lagomonte to anyone. As me my wife and 2 kids had the time of our lifes and even the silly game they played on a night was halarious. after all your on holiday to enjoy yourselves and we certainly did thanks to the entertainment team.

We stayed for a week 13th aug-21st aug 04 Their were 4 of us ,2 Adults 2 children .The food was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff worked round the clock keeping the hotel clean and tidy. The staff were always on hand to help at any time and the rooms were cleaned daily.The air -con was a god send as it was extremely hot. The evening entertainment catered for all ages. The drinks were free flowing all through day and night with plenty of choice of cocktails and other local spirits. The only downfall i can say is that their is a lack of sunbeds and to get them you have to be up for at least 8.30 to have a chance of even getting one. The pool was a bit of a let down for my 3 year old especially as her pool was about the size of a car. Its a shame really because their are tennis courts right next to the pool which could be made in to another swimming area. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and would definalty go back again. Very Central plenty to do.

We thought that the Lagomonte was a lovely hotel, although the facilaties in the room were pretty poor. From the time that we got there we never once got a sunbed in the hotel as there was always a rush for them in the morning although there was the odd few that would lay down there towels and walk away for the day and the seating area at nights was much the same so it did get pretty annoying at times. The centre of the resort is only a short walk from the hotel. the food in the hotel was really nice for adult and the kids, you did get the odd few who would complain about the meals but seeing as how the meals were all buffet style then if you didnt like it then you didint have to eat it, the staff at the hotel were all really nice and they kept the place very tidy and clean. the only real problem that my family and myself had with the Lagomonte was the simple things that you would expect in a hotel were not provided, ie, kettle, iron, fridge, hairdyer, these things had to be hired on a weekly basis, and they werent cheap. Overall the Lagomonte is a nice hotel, and we really enjoyed our holiday. but be ready to see the greed of some people.
