very loud, no housekeeping, we were staying a week, housekeeper was three times and came before our check out, was standing behind the door, . Size of the room was ok and balcony, but everything so simple like in hostel, we'll never stay there again. Buffet was terrible, and no natural juices.

For 2 adults 3 kids for 2 weeks i paid £1200. Our apartment was a bit outdated but very clean and plenty of space. Plenty of pools, 8 and each one had a kiddies area. Kids had a great time, Hotel staff came by the pool everyday with sunbathing warnings and tips and you could by the lotion. they also encouraged the kids and some adults to play games in the pool. Evening entertainment every night. The beach was amazing very shallow and kids could play safely, very clean. and food at the bar was very good. Most restaurants are well priced. I would recommend going to Los Palmitos staff are very friendly food was cheap but very good and PINT beer €1.35. Yummy Yummy was right outside our hotel was very good too. Plenty of things to do and if you go to the no frills excursions you will get good deals on boat or bus trips, we did both and went to palma for the day which was great.
Yes there was a rat or two by the river but well what do you expect near water. They didnt come near the actual apartment blocks or bars and ran away when they seen people. The only downside was the ladies constantly asking to braid my daughter and my hair, this is roughly about €25 and do not like getting no for an answer. Some of them are friendly enough others not so much and the horse and carriage ride are a total rip off. we had a great time. My friend stayed at Club mac for a week for the same price for her and 1 child and she only got a tiny room she couldnt believe how much space we had for the 5 of us. Fantastic value for money. Oh our TV didnt work but we didnt stay in long enough to care.

Holiday from hell

Nov 2011, bored

The worst holiday I have ever had. My two children were totally bored in the evenings. The rooms were dirty, didn't even have air condition or a hair dryer. The food was horrible and the queues were anything up to half an hour.It took up to an hour to get drinks and you could only get one drink at a time served in a little plastic cup. The staff were rude and generally unhelpful

There are so many unfair reviews about the Bellevue, that I feel that I have to put the record straight.
OK it's not 4 star, and if you're the type of person that only goes on holiday to complain (as most of the reviewers seem to be) yes you can find things wrong.
Speaking from our own personal experience, we had a great time and liked it so much, went back a week later. We found the Staff very pleasant and always found something to our taste in the diner.
My advice is ignore the bad reviews if you go on holiday to enjoy yourself rather than look for things to whinge about.

Never Again will I stay here!!

I don't want to go on and on but there is just so much to say about this awful hotel!!! I read the reviews before I went and must admit I was worried... But then again I have been to some lovely places before with bad reviews everyone is different, but I can't stress enough how true these reviews are please do not stay here!! On the 1st day check in que massive, staff not so friendly and you are left with a map to find your apartment block. We stayed in SiennaII this and SiennaI had to have been the worst.. on the day of arrival I had to complain about the cleaniness of the room, Such a strong thick smell of cigarette's (and im a smoker) which almost made me sick, thick dust on the furniture all around the room!! I complained to reception (about 2-3 mins walk) who said it was too late so would ask a maid to clean in the morning so I had to sleep in that god awful room. We left the room the next day about 8:30 for breakfast could not get in the restaurant to sit down que was ridiculous, went to the Shine most mornings for breakfast which was lovely food. So many people around us all the time in Bellevue wrist bands eating out. Then we returned to the Hotel about 6:30 that evening to find the room still had not been cleaned!!! So I marched back over to reception who said they would send someone immediately, they arrived the next morning. So in the meantime cleaned my own room with wet wipes!! The mornings we did get in there for breakfast the food was bareable but never ate lunch or dinner in the hotel disgusting, and the only all inclusive snack bar just served burger & chips everyday. Alcudia its self is a beautiful place especially the beech which is where we spent most of our days as you couldn't get round the pool in the hotel anywhere!! My top recommended eat out is YUMMY YUMMY excellent food and staff there are lovely, We ate there most evenings 3 course meal for 8.80 and it is lovely. Also the Champion only had breakfast here but was good!! Avoid the steak houses as I found they were extremley overpriced and the food was not great at all! Linekars bar is very well priced for drinks but does not serve food!! I 100% recommend the place but definitley not the hotel, please do not stay here it will ruin your holiday!!!

Belle vue club - DON'T BOTHER!! first time I have posted a review - please believe it!!
Holiday makers are treated appallingly - cattle class would be a generous description .. they've got your cash so why would they bother???
The rats are most interesting .... couldn't believe it when I seen them all on the first night ... must be about 100 rats living on the embankment - which you HAVE to cross to get to the restaurant/entertainment area - this is a serious health hazard!!!!
This place is a nightmare; - QUE QUE QUE - que for a table; que for food - if you are brave enough .... food - disgusting and re-cooked -e.g. monday's salmon morphed into tuesdays salad - this happened EVERY day.. Was sitting on our balcony and heard people vomitting in the neighbouring apartments - lots of ill people; drinks - only allowed 3 at a time and was minimum of 30 minutes in a QUE every time you went to the bar.
Not enough pools - with serious LACK of sunbeds - we got 2 broken ones one afternoon - result!! then managed to get one on our last day - there weren't even enough chairs outside for the folk who didn't get sunbeds ... lots of folk lying on the grass. Only 1 pool serving bar snacks for 7 apartment blocks - this was the snack bar that also had 'all inclusive ice cream' - good walk unless you were at this pool area - worth noting all pool areas had bars - only 2 were all inclusive - the others you had to pay at - unless you wanted to walk to one of the other pools!! Do the right thing and go somewhere else!

After reading the reviews we were very worried, totally unfounded.
We have just come back from a lovely week away, albeit most of the time was spent on the fantastic beach and not around the hotel. If you are prepared to get in the dining room early for breakfast and your evening meal, you won't have to queue.the food was okay but the salad bar was really lovely, and as much as you can eat, believe me some people really took advantage of this.We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and i can only suggest we have ourselves to blame if there are any issues it seems to be the loud, swearing, abusive, drunken English who cause most of the problems. Keep yourselves away from these type people and hopefully you will have a good holiday. We are pleased for a week away All Inclusive for 2 Adults, £ 525 BARGAIN.

Belle queue!!!

Just returned from a week all inclusive at the bellevue with my boyfriend, i was slightly apprehensive about staying here after booking first and reading reviews second but it wasnt as bad as some reviews made out. My main issue was the time spent queuing at the bar, with only one bar (morrocco bar) which has limited seating and the show garden which has two all inclusive bars you have no choice but to queue. There is a paying bar in the show garden which you will spot straight away as thare is no-one waiting to be served. Food was hit and miss mainly veal of some sort of grilled fish, salad bar was nice however i had a problem with the flies and if your fussy then there is chips chips and more chips!! We ate out a few nights and i would recommend Yummy yummys just across the road and The White Rose/Roses Return just left over the bridge. If you would like a sunlounger then may i suggest you set your alarm for about 5am to put your towel out but dont worry you can leave it there as long as you like as no one comes round to remove them like they should, we didnt have a sun lounger for the whole of our stay. Butending on a positive note the studio we stayed in was very clean and tidy and towels were changed every other day and beds were made. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would probably stay here again but only on a self catering basis as i preferred it outsibe of the complex.

Holiday 1.10.11 to 8.10.11

Had a lovely holiday in these apartments. Was really concerned having read some of the reviews beforehand but was pleasantly surprised. Complex is very clean and appartments although basic with no a/c, were really clean and tidy. Maids came Mon Wed Fri without fail and all towels/bedding changed no probs. Food was good. Alcudia beach is a must and is only a 15 mins walk away.
Only downside was the queues for the drinks and the pool bar where we stayed (Minerva) was not an all inclusive, so we had to walk to other bars but heh, not too far to walk.
Don,t believe all the criticism you read. some people want to pay little but get 5 star accom. You get what you pay for and this was certainly good. Will definitely return as fu manchu once said!!!!
