Relais de Paris Cambronne Hotel

We stayed 2 nights in a double room. The room was very small. It was difficult to take a shower. However very central located. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was ok. Ideal for budget visit in Paris.

stayed in january this year. Found the hotel clean and tidy but small. Breakfast was not very good and reception service helpful. Good location, was really close to the tower and 20yards from the metro. Overall worth the money

We stayed recently at the Hotel Relais de Paris Cambronne for six days. I agree with other reviewers' comments about this hotel. Great location, small rooms, small showers! Hotel is clean and well kept up. I thought I would add a couple of missing details: 1) There are only two outlets in the rooms. One is on the hair dryer which is extended about four feet above the floor. Kind of hard to use! My wife and I ended our 3rd of 4 weeks in Europe at the Relais De Cambronne Hotel in Paris. Overall a wonderful stay. But, beware of the small shower and room!! Enjoy the view if you are in the front of the hotel on the 4th floor or higher, of the Eiffel tower. If you are on a budget and need a hotel close to the major attractions this is one to consider. Skip the breakfast buffet at the hotel, there is a really nice Crepe Cafe and Pattiserie down the Boulevard near the Metro.

Stayed here for 4 nights recently and is in really dire need of refurbishment on a big scale!!! I'm not exprecting the Ritz for the price I paid but overall was very dissappointed. The room was the smallest I;ve ever stayed in in Paris, which is saying something. There wasn't room to leave the suitcase on the floor on the narrow side. Bathroom old-fashioned, was clean but wild dogs couldn't drag me back there. Should have known better considering it was so close to the Eiffel tower. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Rooms are in need of a good clean and upgrade! Bathrooms are in need of improvements! Hotel staff were unpleasant and surley!

As for Scandinavian demand, Eiffel Grenelle was just what we expected. Not a high level of standard what we are used to but it is just okay. Excellent location. For Tour Eiffel 500m. Good connections by metro and RER -train to Arche Triumphe, La Defence, Euro Disney, Versailles, CDG, and Notre Dame and Louvre. , Very good value, very good location ,clean rooms but shower and tub needs a lot of improve, they weren't sinitize at all, we also experiment a scene with two maids and the front desk lady having a very nasty argument and the worst at all they ignore at us completly,so we were force to go back to the street. Just back from a very pleasant stay at the Hotel RDP Eiffel Grennelle at 3 Blvd Grennelle, just down from the Eiffel Tower. The very clean room was large enough to comfortably hold two beds, a bureau, and a desk and two chairs. The bathroom was almost as big. The staff was very helpful, making this a pleasant place to stay. The only drawback was the Bir Hakim metro across the street, which whooshed by about every 10 minutes until 12 or so and started again around 5:30. Best value for money! A nice 3 Star Hotel for EURO 100.00 per night in May 2003 including Breakfast.Front Desk service was excellent and they were friendly and very funny too!
