where shall i start, hairs in bath, hairs in bed, dirty curtains (looked like pooh), headboard mirrors and soap dish were also all dirty. The shower pipe leaking and i fixed it myself, no tea making facilitys in room and was only available from 1400 - 1600 hrs and then from flask of hot water that was only luke warm and thats only when the staff rememberd to put it out, you pay extra for everything, sauna, jaccuzi, spa, babys cots, tv, hotel parking, room service and even the room safe. The jacuzzi was not working. breakfast was not good and if you did not get there early it was cold apart from the milk that was not very cold at all and was put close to the breakfast cereals that were loose in bowls and all the crumbs ended up in the milk the scrambled egg was far to runny and looked like slop and soaked your toast even after you drained the moisture out of it. you had to make you own toast and there was 2 toasters between 50 odd people and one only toasted one side of the bread at a time but if you were quick making it it did seem to make your meal a bit warmer. The hotel is in a quiet area but the room i was in was at the side of the hotel and with the passing traffic on the old cobbled road its really noisey, you dont notice this to much with your windows closed (but im a heavy sleeper) but it gets very stuffy in the rooms and you have to open the windows. I was in the bar on the last night (only time i used the bar)and vodka and coke and a 25cl leffe beer was 12 euros 50 cents and i caught the barman using beer that other people had left and he tipped it in glasses topped it up with fresh beer then took it over to the table and served it up to customers he was serving.
I could not believe it also the mini bar in your room prices were stupid a small bag of peanuts was 2.75 euros a tiny and i mean tiny bar of chocolate 2.75 euros fanta orange or a can of coke 2.75 euros a right rip off but the hotel building itself was nice and the reception staff were lovley. if you go dont say you were not warned

Poor quality city centre hotel.
Room not available at check in time.
The room decor left much to be desired ~ curtains dirty, carpet badly marked, walpaper torn and stained, tiles in bathroom cracked with mould between.
In its favour ~ Situated in quiet location, a short walk from the popular market squares.
Polite staff. Good breakfast.
