Diana Hotel

If you are a fan of 'Modernista' architecture, then you have really come to the right place. The lounges have been beautifully preserved, from the Gaudi designed fireplace to the intricate stained windows in the lounges through to the genteel courtyard where the pleasant buffet breakfast is served in the morning sunshine. We loved our stay in Tossa and loved Hotel Diana. As far as we could see it was the best located hotel in Tossa and had old-world charm. Gorgeous old antique interios on the first floor. We had a great "superior room" overlooking the "best ever" beach with a nice balcony. Very clean, nice bathroom, new furniture, very nice staff. We closed our interior doors at night and didn't hear a thing from the street. Breakfasts were great! Excellent location in resort town, directly accross street from nice beach. The beach has glass-bottomed boats that will take you into caves in the cliffs. The room had a nice balcony overlooking the Sea (not all rooms have balconies). The breakfast was better than most other hotels...whole pieces of fresh fruit, cereal, croissants, eggs, bacon, whole tomatoes. English speaking staff. Clean room. Good water pressure with adequate hot water. Charming old hotel.
