Hotel Sunny Villas

I stayed in a Villa with three friends at the end of June. Our villa was reasonably spacious and delightfully furnished in keeping with the village atmosphere. The only draw back was that one of the two bathrooms was tiny. The villa had views of the volcano / sea and came with a private patio (also with a sea view) where a great breakfast was served each morning. The Villa's pool is small by necessity (it too is on the cliff side) but beautiful. The villa's location is perfect. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I've been to Santorini a few times already but by far this hotel was the best... our trip started out with lots of travel woes: missed flights, lost luggageand a very late arrival, but the staff of Sunny Villas were so helpfull and warm that we felt immediately at home. Our appartment (a typical santorinian cave house) refunded us for all this trouble we had until we get there enjoying its modern amenities. The view is impossible to be described in a few words...is literally breathtaking.

My wife and I went to Greece for our honeymoon. We heard that Santorini was the most romantic, and also online saw good reviews for this hotel, so we chose Sunny Villas. Especially as it said that the service was amazing. Well as promised the view was spectacular, and it was great we had our own private balcony to view from. In the morning it was such as treat to have our breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beautiful view. Having now stayed at Hotel Sunny Villas two years running.....I now feel I have to share my experiences there. Amazing views, lovely rooms, fantastic staff, what more can you ask for. Santorini is a quite magical island, photographs do not do it justice, and Sunny Villas is situated to prove this. Waking up every morning and seeing the most beautiful scenery takes your breath away, and this does not alter as the days go by. We stayed here on our honeymoon last year and had a wonderful stay. Rooms are well priced and have wonderful balconies which we spent considerable time on. Our room had a stove which we used to cook dinner (there is a small market right around the corner which is very reasonably priced) and was decorated nicely. There is also a nice restaurant across the street which we had a great meal at. Imerov. was great for us since it is centrally located on the island and night traffic was minimal. Truly wonderful. Andres and his staff showered us with hospitality -- exceptional compared to most hotels since they genuinely care about the quality and comfort of your stay. The athentic cave style room was charming. After seeing the view on several points of the caldera, we also felt this was of the highest quailty and spectacular. We enjoyed being apart from Fira but close enough to walk (25 mins or so). I recommend this hotel without hesitation. ENJOY!

When my husband and I arrived at Sunny Villas in May of this year, we were awe-inspired by the incredible view. The hotel is built into the caldera overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea. The lovely rooms are characteristically Greek with lovely furnishings and white washed walls each equipped with a modern bathroom, a small kitchen, and a personal balcony overlooking the sea and the ruins of a Venetian castle (Skaros) that we had the pleasure to hike around several times. We looked at so many different hotels before we booked the Sunny Villas as everyone was saying how key it was to get a good location and view....we were not disappointed. We stayed for 5 nights in one of the cave villas which was lovely. Really cozy and romantic and best of all is the fabulous balcony attached. Here we watched the sunset each night and had breakfast served to us each morning. My wife and I spent 11 wonderfull days at sunny Villas for our 30th wedding anniversay what an absolute dream come true we had the unit overlooking the pool a quick swim to cool off and then a drink at the bar the views and the sunsets incredible the staff fantastic and the room all though small was great Waking up to views of the water.a 30 minute walk to town not a problem as there was always new things happening. We are going back again for sure

First of all, thank you to Andreas for a wonderful stay! The service at Hotel Sunny Villas was very good as the manager was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on the steep beautiful slopes of Santorini with a stunning view from every room. We were enchanted by the sea and all of the magical white villas of Santorini. The room itself was okay, we found the cave-like feeling a bit claustrophobic for our liking. As well, the bed was not as firm as what we were accustomed to - however, others may really like this... more
