I've reviewed this hotel before, we were last there in Sept 05. This hotel is fabulous, it goes from strength to strength! They have added another pool with lots of slides for older children and adults, whilst the smaller pool has a small slide complex for younger children.
The food is still A1 standard, plenty of choice, plenty of it too - no empty pans because they're slow to refill! The wine and beer is very drinkable and they have a huge range of spirits in the all inclusive packet. They have extended their snack bar area near the beach and pools too.
We travelled in the middle of August, the hotel was busy, but we got sun loungers everyday and there was plenty of space around the pool and on the hotel's beach. The staff were efficient and friendly. There is a bus-stop right outside the hotel, 10 mins to Lindos, (90 mins to Rhodes Town though) buses with air-con and very cheap!
Two caveats though - firstly, this hotel is mostly used by German tours, we noticed an increase in French and Italians too - there are very few English tourists. However the staff all have basic English, so you aren't stuck if you don't have any Greek or German!! If you like to get away from everyone, be anonymous and relax, this is for you, if you like to make new friends and can't entertain yourself, then possibly you'll be disappointed.
Secondly - CLUB GREECE ARE A TIME-SHARE ORGANISATION!!! If you go to Rhodes Town, be on the lookout for these unscrupulous individuals and run ......... and keep running! Check the thread on this site. Be aware. Take a fool's advice and keep going, even if they tell you you've won the star prize!

Hi there, just to confirm what the others have said, fantastic place.
We stayed Sept 05, it was very hot every day. Food plenty of it available & very good, not always hot enough for us, but good quality.
Pools & pool bars great, the lower one near the beach serves food during the day.
Lindos village is very nice.
St Paul's bay worth a visit & swim.
When we were here, we had already got our 2006 holiday planned, but my partner is wanting to go back. I could write a lot more but the others have already done this.
I just wanted to add, it is really a great hotel to stay at if going to this area of Rhodes

This hotel was by far the best, in which my family and I have ever stayed.
The room was comfortable, clean and spacious.
The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful. From the check-in at reception to the lassies cleaning the rooms, to the girl at the indoor pool giving out the towels to use in the 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor or to carry down to the beach.
There were 2 poolside bars, one serving snacks at lunchtime (and ice-cream at anytime) and a bar indoors. All had a huge range of 'local' liquors and an enticing cocktails list - having stayed at an all inclusive hotel in Corfu where the only 'local' drinks were gin, vodka and brandy we now know how spoilt for choice we were in the Lindos Princess!
The pools were cleaned every evening and the areas around the pools washed down thoroughly in the mornings before any guests were afoot. The indoor pool, which was a very good size, was next door to a sauna and spa and a well-equipped gym was lurking around the corner.
There was an Internet facility behind reception, shops and tennis courts, as well as table tennis, billiards and pinball. There was a play area for children near the pools and I did see some women taking an aerobics class (were they mad? It's a holiday!)
The food was absolutely fantastic - breakfasts were a wealth of choice; from cereal to bacon and eggs to pancakes to Continental style cold meats, cheeses and breads.
Lunch was available in the dining-room (another amazing array of choice) or at the snack bar by the pool.
And supper was the same all over again, but with more choice or you could go with waiter service in the 'a la carte' restaurant. Personally with all that food I needed the exercise so we stuck to the buffets!
With such a large variety of choice at every meal, even my finicky eating son was well catered for and certainly my husband and I came home heavier than we had left!
The only drawback we could come up with for the Lindos Princess, was that it is so far south on the island, that it took ages to drive up to Rhodes Town and frankly if that's all you can come up with by way of complaint at the end of a week, then you're really reaching aren't you!
10 out of 10 - go to the head of the class!

Stayed at this fabulous hotel last September can't fault it in any way it has 3 ala carte restaurants, fantastic meals in main restaurant and it is immaculate right on beach, 2 outdoor pools / 2 poolside bars indoor pool sauna Jacuzzi and staff brill. LUXURIOUS!!!!!
It is on border of Lardos and next village is Pefkos ideal for night outs and located 5 mins from Lindos with fantastic nightclubs, bars and restaurants and scenic views and bays on beach. Glass bottomed boats also leave from there to travel round island.
Taxis from Lindos are 9 -12 Euros Agree a price b4 you get into the taxi. Beware though when booking with Thompson Holidays check that the hotel itself has arranged your airport to hotel transfers as Thompson left us stranded on outskirts of Lindos and had to pay 10 Euros to reach hotel from there.
Hotel reception staff was not very amused and advised it is best to ask your tour operator to book transfers via direct with hotel to arrive door to door. When complained to Thompson got fobbed off and when cornered rep they advised they only drop off at nearest drop off point 8 klm away.
Your wont be disappointed at this hotel it is fabulous and I am going back there ASAP.

The food is ok. We have been to a lot of all inclusive hotels and although the food here isn’t amongst the best we have had, it certainly isn’t amongst the worst. A bit repetitive and the a la carte restaurant wasn’t anything to write home about, but we managed to survive a week without dying from starvation or having to resort to eating out! The kids all thought it was fine.
The actual hotel is great in terms of facilities, location, etc but the things that really let it down are:
1 – The beds around the pool area are really uncomfortable wicker design with no mattresses.
2 – The food is not really up to 4**** standard.
3 – With the exception of 2 or 3 staff, the rest have absolutely ZERO personality or interest in your holiday.
4 – We felt we could have been anywhere in the world. Australia, Spain, Outer Mongolia… there is absolutely nothing GREEK about this hotel which is a real shame.
5 – A bit of Greek music would have been nice but they only seem to have a couple of popular dance music CDs which were played constantly (sometimes loudly) no matter where you were sitting around the complex – and it’s a pretty big place!
On the whole we did have a lovely holiday – lets face it – if the kids are happy then you are too. But I don’t think we would rush back. The location is a bit too remote. Nowhere to walk to and too hot anyway to go anywhere. We have had lots of all inclusive holidays and feel that this place is let down by the real lack of atmosphere and its overall lack of interest in us as paying holiday makers.
