We visited on 9th of June, for two weeks. The rooms were clean, the staff were lovely and the food was excellent.
There were a good mix of visitors from different countries, who, although speaking different languages, all managed to get along.
All in all, a fantastic holiday, and we cant wait to go back.

Just got back from the Lymberia, and I must say, after reading some of the reviews, i was apprehensive. The hotel was clean, rooms a bit basic but fine. The food was fine not masses of choice but enough variation. The staff were friendly, and the two lads on the animation... more

Me and my girlfriend (20 and 22 years of age) arrived at the Lymberia Hotel on 14/5/10. We was welcomed by a free cocktail and assisted bagage carring to our room. The hotel itself, was very clean, well presented and appeared to look very professional. In terms of location,... more

I was also a little skeptical when I read the praise and rice, but I must say that Lymberia Hotel was fantastic. Were welcomed and given a green wristband, which meant "All inclusive" Immediately I went into the restaurant for the 3 buffet tables, which was continually... more

pool facilities excellent
while the pool facilities were good and the cleanliness off the hotel was first class we were put off by the ovrepowering smells in the reception and dining room the food however was boring and repetitive and leftovers were made available at the next meal time dining room staff were overworked especially at breakfast when guests had to continually ask for food ,crockery and cutlery to be replenished all incusive guests are treated differently to other guests and attitude of hotel owner was not welcoming mini golf and tennis facilities are out of date overall this hotel is not up to all inclusive standards
Dont go there!!!
This was the worst holiday hotel we have ever stayed in by far. The food was un eatable (unless you have the digestion system of a German) and it is dished out in a dining hall with no air conditioning so could have cooked itself in the heat. the staff were very anti-Brit to say the least and made the brits wait untill the other nationalities had been surved first. the rooms were ok (if they were set to 2 star standards) bbut Air conditioning was an extra cost even for all inclusive guests. the T.V. was set up with 2 German 1 Greek and 1other non English speaking channels. The family who own the Hotel were "so what no one else complained" type people (check out other reports to see how wrong they were. But the pool was ok in the day, not at night though as mice run about in the pool bar/food section. Falaraki the strip was sound though, every thing you have seen on T.V. and more. Watch out for the usual Bar touts with their promis of free drinks, they tend to be made up from Anti-Freeze I think. In short - Buzzin Holiday but dont stay at the Lymberia Hotel !!!!!!
hate young people
room was small, resembled a cave but we later found out the nicer rooms were reserved for families, no air conditioning in room, shower rail fell on my head as soon as i touched it. Staff didnt seem to have very high opinion of brits, food was unedible and the all inclusive only included beer, vodka and soft drinks, waste of money, i had a brilliant holiday though and wouldnt let that spoil it.
Food was terrible!
I've just returned from a week at the Lymberia Hotel, we went to Faliraki for the nightlife so we weren't really that bothered about the hotel, we didn't pay that much for the all inclusive deal so didnt expect much - good job really. The rooms were clean but our towels were never changed, and i'm pretty sure my sheets weren't either! It is very basic and you are only allowed food at certain times which is bizarre! All inclusive guests are treated like children, only allowed plastic cups and only allowed to get drinks from the pool bar. The food was terrible, barely edible, we ate out most nights. Lots of cold pasta with some strange tasting meat. Decent meals are served in the afternoon at a price from the pool bar!! The pool area was very nice, we found it never got that busy and was always clean. There were always spare sunbeds. We took our own cd player down to the pool as there wasn't always music playing in the bar. The location isnt brilliant but Faliraki centre is a short taxi ride, it cost about 6 euro each way which soon adds up if you do it every night. I wouldn't reccommend this hotel to families as there is nothing for children to do, the pool has a very small section for children but thats it, there is no entertainment either. For what we paid for the holiday we can't really complain, we made the most of the alcohol! The staff are friendly, even though they work very long hours! I'd definitely go back to Faliraki but would NOT be staying at the Lymberia!
Worst hotel we have ever stayed In
Ants in the rooms Impolite staff - 1 member of staff opened our hotel room door with a spare key while we were all sleeping and woke us!! Stray cats in the kitchen area eating food off plates which have been left lying around by staff Flies in restaurant and crawling over the food Tried exchanging £100 sterling at reception and they offered 70euro (should be almost double this) Everybody we spoke to who were staying in the Lymberia were less then impressed with the hotel Although this hotel is cheap, pay a little extra and stay elsewhere If you do stay in this hotel make sure you do not mention where you are staying to the locals, as we did and they laughed at us!! One local told us that it is renowned for being the worst hotel on the island!
Bad experiencel
What can I say! We arrived about 12.30am after a three our flight delay. We booked in and asked if we could buy some water and was told not till morning. We were all inclusive. When we went for breakfast food was left uncovererd as was lunch and dinner, it was also recycled. We gave up and started to eat out. There was a time limit when you could eat and drink. All inclusives were treated very differently to other guests. We also had to pay extra for air conditioning. The pool area was ok but children were in the pool with no nappy on. This was my first all inclusive and it has put me off trying another one. I couldnt wait to leave the place.
Disgusted guest
I arrived at the hotel at 1:00 in the morning after a 3hour plane delay and asked if we could have a bottle of water to take to our room. I was told point blank 'no' because they were closed. I assumed foolishly that there will probably be a bottle in our rooms being all inclusive paid guests. The room was antequated, to sit on the toilet your feet would rest in the shower basin unless you sat sideways on. The shower was so tiny the curtain would stick to your skin when trying to wash - god help anyone over more than a size 10. Some guests told me they removed the curtain which just made the whole bathroom floor be swampled in water. There was no lighting on any balconies that I saw inlcuding ours. We were told the rooms were fully airconditioned, we were not told full inclusive guests still had to pay for the air con. We could not get a cup of tea or coffee once the breakfast room was closed until 15:30. We had to pay for icecreams and lollies from the bar - the free icecream was two small spoonfuls provided to you in a plastic cup which you would get your beers served in. The guests were rude and miserable apart from the poolside staff who were young (one young girl was only 17) and overworked with very long hours. One lunchtime, the spaghetti (it looked like carbonara) was actually off!. Flies were constantly in the restaurant area and the food was never covered up, was not kept on coolers so cheeses and meats were luke warm. The hot food was laid over hot steaming water to keep warm! You were not allowed alcoholic drinks in the dining room unless you got them yourself from the outside pool bar, the staff would only serve you wine, beer of water and juice. If you sat indoors in the evening or daytime, inclusive guests were not served at the bar unless they paid for the drinks. You therefore had to go outside even if it was raining to queue for the drink and walk back inside with it. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. This was my first trip to Greece and has put me off ever wanting to visit again.
Not for all inclusive
This hotels attitude to all inclusive patrons was the worste I have ever seen. We had to use the pool bar which was outside, even at night and we were always served with plastic beakers which made us feel different from the rest of the guests that were using the hotel. I would understand if the drinks were being drunk at the poolside but at night they were not. I approached the owner and complained but he said that was the way all Greek hotels were run. I can asure you that this is not the case. he also said that the plastic tumblers was for heath and safety but all the other guests were able to have normal glasses he was making a distinction between his all inc. guests and his other guests. There was no refridgeration for any of the cold food that was served and most times the food was out on display for 3 hours. The hot food was in bane maries but the temp was never very warm I did not have a food probe with me but on estimation I would put the food at 45oc this is well below the recommended temp of keeping hot food. Being all inclusive I thought that at least I could have a cup of tea during the day but was told by a member of staff that tea/coffee would only be served after 15.30pm. I have been visiting Rhodes for the last 15 years please if you have the misfortune of visiting this hotel DO NOT let it put you off there are better places and better hospitality. I have complained to the tour operators
Deeply disappointed!!!!
Having just returned from this hotel as an all inclusive guest I feel that I have to share my experience with other who are thinking of booking. We arrived at 5.30am and had to waken up the night person as he was sound asleep on the couch, very security concious, not!!! Once we had finally convinced him that we had a booking for the hotel we went to bed and slept in for breakfast that morning, I accept that this was our fault, however, what I did not accept was the fact that at 11am we could not have coffee unless we paid for it even although we were all inclusive. We were informed that we could wait until 3.30pm and have coffee then. We decided to go and have a look around and we did have a coffee which cost around £1 in a nearby cafe. We eventually returned to the hotel for our evening meal asuming that we would have major choices, stupid of us reallyus we discovered that every meal consisted of the same, salad and cold meat choices only, The only people to be served with drinks were the people that were paying for their meals. I felt so discriminated against as we were not allowed to use the hotel bar and had to walk outside in the dark to go to the pool bar where we were served drinks in plastic glasses and were only allowed one drink for one band, very embarrasing when you were in company. As for this hotel being family run they obviously do not enjoy guests being all inclusive as they have not quite grasped that aspect of things. You will find that I have spoken to many guests who were in the hotel at the time that I was there and they will all be posting reviews on this site as irrespoective of their nationality they were not impressed either. What else can I say apart from that I have been on many all inclusive holidays where you van eat and drink at anytime and not fel discriminated against with the times and where and when you can have a drinkl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Could easily find a better deal
Decent Location, but outdated facilities, poor food and overworked staff. The wait team is nice, but they needed at least 3 more people and a full time bartender in the Pool Bar for service. Their site lists american breakfast style, not true at all. Consisted of yougurt, cold cuts, cheese food and bread. The Dinners were poor quality with no desserts offered. Best to do the breakfast only or self catering than the half pension and definately ALL INCLUSIVE is a waste of money. Again the wait staff (mostly Polish kids) did an outstanding job but were stretched way too thin to cover the crowds.
