We spent 3 nights at the Meridien over New Year. The hotel is immaculate and very comfortable. It is ideally placed to explore Brussels, and very easy to get to being opposite the train station.
Our room overlooked the front of the building (and the aforementioned station) but was completely silent. The bed was huge and very comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and provided all the required facilities, even a phone next to the toilet!
Overall I would highly recommend staying in this hotel if you plan on visiting Brussels.

Le Meridien is well known as the best hotel in Brussels- and I think it certainly is! It epitomises all things Luxury and has the most fantastic location- right near the central train station (easy arrival/departure, just a short walk with all the luggage) and just around the corner from the beautiful Grand Place with all it's cafes and restaurants.
It is in a safe, prime location with less hustle and bustle than some of the other hotels nearby. The rooms are fabulously appointed, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. A true 5 star!

Had a weekend break at this hotel on a room-only basis. Hotel is situated in an excellent location just a short stroll from the distinguished old city where you can find lots of lovely eateries, shops and pubs. Accommodation was very comfortable. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean with tea/coffee facilities, TV. and minibar.
Gorgeous, large bathroom. Service was very good. We didn't use the restaurant during our stay so can't comment on food. There is a gym but we were too busy exploring and sampling lovely food and beer!
