Hotel Description:
The Eridanus hotel is located in the centre of Athens and offers a splendid and unique view to the Acopolis. Eridanus was the name of the historic river that once crossed the city. The paintings by Giorgos Lazongas, with modern artistic touches, contrast with the neoclassical ceilings. loading...

A posh, expensive restaurant is right next door. Other good restaurants are a 10 minute walk away.
Breakfast was the same every day, and I wish hotels provided hot plates for the hot food - The Eridanus, like so many other 5* hotels fails in this.
Our room was big, clean, with an interesting bathroom layout and well looked after by the staff. The bed was very comfy. Free soft drinks were provided in the mini-bar, but expensive wines, beers and spirits so buy your own in local supermarkets if want alcohol in your room.
Reception and restaurant staff were fluent in English, helpful and friendly.
I'd recommend this hotel if you are on a business trip or a sight-seeing tour of Athens.
