Best Western Pythagorion Hotel

Hotel is in a decent area to visit the main Athens attractions by walking. The rooms are pretty basic, but clean. Beds and pillows a bit too hard, but not bad. My room was near the elevator which was pretty noisy. There was no view from the window in my room, but soom rooms have better views than others I am told. The hotel desk staff was very good however. Clean hotel with a good location for shopping. In fact, we had to replace a suitcase and a department store was next to the underground. Not close to the Acropolis, but the underground is only a ten minutes walk. Ordinary breakfast, however they had boiled eggs so you good get protein without sugar. Starbucks and an excellent restaurant within a ten minute walk. Negatives for us were the weak air conditioning and room cost (approx $175 per night)
