Museum Hotel

I stayed with a friend in this hotel and i found it very nice for its category..Its in a good location and u can move around Athens easily with metro, bus, troley and tram. It's clean and staff is very friendly and helpfull.

I wasn't expecting much from this place. I just needed a place for the night between arriving by ferry from the islands, and heading home the next day. Figured anything would do. Well, this hotel is really quite nice! Newly refurbished; big room; huge balcony; very good breakfast. The staff were VERY pleasant, and they had unlimited free wireless internet! The hotel itself was very nice, and was nearly adjacent to the Archaeological Museum. Breakfast was good and had a variety of foods. We used this location as a base to go to that museum as well as the Benaki museum (don't miss this one!). The area was not too nice, aside from the museum. There is a lot of graffiti, most windows and store entrances are barred at night, and groups of loud young men hang about and stare at you as you walk by. For $140, I would expect better surroundings.
