Central Hotel

Booked by Edelweiss Bike Tours for my 4-country motorcycle tour of the Alps, this 4 star hotel was much swankier than I would have chosen for myself, warmly decorated in wood and stone, traditional yet modern. A very pleasant atmosphere was complimented by the friendly and cheerful staff, most of whom spoke English very well. Really friendly place. Staff are great; very helpful. Recently refurbished. Good food. Very well located in centre of village and near Ski School and nursery slopes. Ski bus stop 50 meteres from front door. Very child friendly. Good well sized rooms. Some very good Austrian wines in the cellar. One of the more relaxed places if been to. Would recommend it.

This hotel was beyond belief, service was absolutely out of this world and the staff could not be more friendlier than they were at this hotel. This was our first visit to this resort and we have booked again for 2007 skiing season. Packages are arranged at brilliant prices and the food excellent, especially the Tyrolean Farmers Buffet which was something to see, especially when they are putting joints of meat onto your plate!! Seefeld is a great resort we keep going back to and this is the best hotel we have stayed in there. Since the Hotel Post has been refurbished, that is vastly overpriced and the Central wins hands down on facilities in any event and is far cheaper. Heated boot racks in the ski room, half board alternates between an excellent buffet or a choice of starters and 3 main courses. I'm vegetarian and just turning up in the restaurant on the first night and them preparing something for me was no problem. Speaking German an advantage but not... more
