Hotel Aristoteles

Stayed at this hotel as it was nearby to meetings I had to attend but would NEVER stay there again. Very noisy, old and manky. Rooms smelled weird, furniture all from the 70s. Slept on top of the bed covers as wasn't sure about cleanliness of the sheets. Only one power outlet in the room and it was near the bathroom- no outlets in main part of the room. We had a reservation at Aristoteles Hotel for two separate nights in June 2007 between our trip to the Cyclades. When we arrived at the Aristoteles Hotel for our first night, we were greeted by a friendly person at the reception desk. He was very helpful in giving directions to different places, advice on which way to go or how to get there, etc. The elevator was very small, only fit yourself and maybe 1 or 2 bags with you. This is a cheap , clean hotel with excellent staff. It is very well located in Athens , nothing funcy but what do you pay,after all? The room is clean , breakfast is plenty and the price is good.
